Yeah, LoL.. So, they "declare" war on us for taking a few planets. And now I guess they're declaring war on the other legions, including Galaxy Desperados, which didn't participate in the attack on their base. Honestly. Those pirates are some real top-notch players. Drop a nap, and they don't even wait the "24h soft-nap" period from what I've heard. Don't trust Pirates. They aren't any better than the ones in Somalia.

That's funny... I seem to recall PA declaring war on us a long while back for "taking a few planets." I also recall The Dominion declaring war on us because we disabled a few bases. Now you're offended that the Pirates declare war on The Honey Badgers and company for the same thing? PA, Dominion, Badgers, whatever you're going to call yourselves next week, you're still the same clique. Don't be hypocrits.



And that statement seems to be justification enough for the Pirates to include GD in the mix. Oh, we're not going to fight their base because of <insert reason here> but Wombats, you guys are ordered to attack them.

I've fought against PA/Dominion and I've fought against the Pirates. They are just as tenacious as you guys. Plus they don't have people getting banned for cheating....

Seems you're hearing tons of little chatter running through so lemme clarify...
We had a nap with GD, soft nap with galaxy... it was because of our nap with GD that we passed over wombats base a few times, including once that it did get locked originally and we let it expire at GD's request... Far as we knew, our nap with GD (and their sub legions) was still in effect...

Base combat comes around yesterday, wombats were all over our base, and if you look above at gator's comment looks a little sketchy... Ixianna sent a message to GD asking if we could sort this out, GD dropped our nap without even discussing it, then sent us a mandatory 24 hour soft nap (which they kinda TOLD us we were doing, there was no agreement of any kind and ixianna even let them know that) so when I asked if planets could be taken, ixianna said sure..

At which point I took a sentient from whaler then my damn power went out for 2 hours o.o stupid comcast...

As for the others: badgers, you're just scum and we want your planets taken... didn't much like you in any of the other legions, pa, roo, otherwise, and definitely don't like you now, even less so because of the base... Ni and roo we've always been in conflicts with, so that's nothing new...

Of the 170 or so attackers on the PA base (90 of which did 1000+ damage), the ONLY attacker from the Wombats:

So, you guys start declaring war over ONE wombat attacking (yes, they did agree to lock). I can't remember if they knew which base they were locking on at the time.

But, while I was in GD (for quite a while, until about 2 weeks ago), I remember how annoying it was to have to "deal" with Icky, and wondered why we had the NAP at all.


And as for the legions that fight along side of the Dysonians. Planet grabs weren't the cause of war.

Funny enough, it sounds to me that by "marching orders" that could be taken as battle plans... hmmmmmmmm regardless of whether or not wombats was TOLD to attack or it just happened out of a moment of insanity is besides the point.. even if they were told to attack, we could personally care less... Yes Pirates has been friendly with dys for over a month now for base combat and as of recently a nap.. none of this is new... GD apparently is unhappy about us having this nap having just last night found out about it, mysteriously after their sublegion attacks our base... and you wouldn't find that a bit odd?

Once again, since there seems to be a simplicity in your reading department, we didn't declare war because wombats hit our base... This all came about because GD basically told us to go buzz off once they discovered we had a nap with dys and without even a discussion or attempt to rectify the situation, the nap was dissolved and all peaceful attempts at a resolution were ignored.. Pirates was the one who was attempting to solve this peaceful, GD declared the war because we were napped with dys... So when GD ordered us to do a 24 soft nap, I ignored such and decided that the war will start now, and ix agreed to such... I'm not asking for any whining, #$&*@, complaining, drama, etc. We're at war, I will kill, main and steal planets... and if comcast doesn't boot me ofline after I take a planet this time, I will keep it or flux it

Honey Badgers have many battle pacts. Wombats have been frequently invited to many of our base attacks. Inviting them against yours was no different. It was during our attacking of the base that your alliance with the Dysonians became apparent (ie, the targeting of our hitting members by Dysonians, using all the same crap that you guys were using). Allying with hostile alliances is a good way to get your NAPs dropped. You guys declared war. From what I understand, Desperados were simply trying to end the NAP and treat you like any other alliance.

You have joined alliances with Dysonains, and declared war on your previous allies/soft-naps. Seems pretty clear to me.

So it was okay for PotC to disable the Wombat base a couple months ago, but it's not okay for Wombats to accept an invitation to disable theirs?

Reminds me of an incident last November... a member of PotC took one of my planets just before I went on a pre-arranged visit to Galaxy. Ixanna promptly sent a NAP request to Galaxy (which was accepted), then refused to let me take the planet back, on the grounds that I'd be breaking the NAP.

Typical PotC hypocrisy. They want to play by a different set of rules than the ones they expect everyone else to adhere to.

I just want to point out that when TU, GP and The Dysonians disabled the Interstellar Snickers or whatever GD calls their base, PotC respected their NAP and peacefully scanned a little level 5 to nomnom on for a few minutes. Yeah, they've been basing with us for a while now.

I'm not even sure if we're talking about the same thing here as to the benefit of my knowledge we haven't disabled wombat base out of respect to GD... and was the planet that was taken from you one that was taken from us? That's a common occurance, a non-napped legion will steal one of our planets then hide out in a napped legion for a while, or vice versa

We have been aware that PotC have been base hunting with your posse for awhile now.

In GD, we heard about locking the base, we told our battle allies that we can't because of the NAP. From my knowledge, GD had nothing to do with the Wombats accepting the invite, despite what it has sounded like. I really don't like spraying doo-doo around the forums, but PotC have completely blown this situation with GD and alliances out of proportion.
