Lose those defense modules and get more hull and attack! You don't need a ton of def sub-rank 100

And you picked wrong with Sillix and Builder. Eventually you'll be able to fit everything on your ship, and afford it all. When that happens, Sillix Builder becomes a crutch.

i disagree with the whole no defense thing entirely and keep it almost even to my attack, also sillix and builder are a crutch from the get go, they are both vitually useless unless your planet luck is absolute crap (you only find average and below) and you never take artifact planets (player mistake).....but hey thats me

Early-early (sub 100), defense is not important.

Max hull quickly, then max attack. Add maybe, one defense module in that time. THEN load up on defenses.

as do i.

attack: 903
defense: 679

actually, its just over 2/3 of my attack. i still find defense very important though, you should keep one microwarp at least. and yeah silixx builder was a bad choice.

When you rank. Up and can see the Dark Ring, try and get the 4 Dark Thrusters. They are all the defines you need up to around rank 120
