Edit: I think I've badged "COOOL" before though, and wasn't alerted. So taking the quoted statement as mostly a fallacy by my interactions with them, the legion seems alright. If it just turns out he wasn't following the legion code, props to him at the least.

There is no PvP etiquette, guys... I didn't see anyone complaining when I was zeroing for badge hits on me. And it drove of several people that used to target me regularly. Gangbanging on badgers can be an effective deterrent if done successfully. Word gets out and people might let them alone. That said though, I'm not sure if its a good idea for a newly founded legion to use that strategy. They can get messed up pretty bad by some more established groups.

If I get alerted by someone over one badge, I figure I can't be hurt further and zero out the person next time I find them on my tab.

agreed, There is kind of an etiquette, a badge hit is considered okay, but multiple hits in a short amount of time generally 24-36 hours, multiple raids and hacks. I consider to be unacceptable. If I hit you for a badge, I expect to be hit back, but not by your whole legion. Would cause problems in my book if you alert because I hurt your ship 1 time.

Just the way I see things.

there seems to be some confusion going on about our practices when it comes to badging. im getting the impression that you think my legion will badge someone over one hit raid or hack and this is untrue. we only go after those who try to muti badge one of our members or those who become a nuscence.

What happens when you get hit for all 3 (disable, raid + hack) in one go and maybe a green on top if crit hacked for a pearl?
