instead of trying to purchase FB credits in-game, use the link outside of the game

in the right hand column above all the ads, click See All, and click Get More in the drop-down box

it's all because of the way Facebook handles FB credit purchases when you're trying to do an in-game action that uses those FB credits immediately upon purchase...

it's not Dan's fault.. it's FB's fault..

also you'll notice the bonus FB credits are all screwed up when you purchase FB credits in-game for more than a certain amount... that's also FB's fault

I have the exact same problem, I buy GP's around 4 days a week, sometimes I will buy $50.00 worth, sometimes $3.00 worth, but having that option is great. But today I noticed, when never before I have ever seen, that if I clicked on 20 credits or 40, that when you selected your choice, there wasn't any 20 or 40 point clickable link in the purchase page, only the 100 points was the smallest default amount, and I think that it is a bit rude that they took that 20 or 40 point choice away from us. I mean I am a Pensioner and sometimes I do need the 20 or 40 points because I cannot afford to pay for more, and I always thought that it was decent of the Dev's to give us that option, but now it appears they have taken it away, which isn't decent at all, it is rude.

Thanks to the player who posted the instructions for the option to purchase actual Facebook Credits in stead, it gave me back that right to buy the 40 I wanted. Thanks :)

general rule: if FB is even slightly related to the problem (even just 1%), they're probably the problem (99% of the time)

Yea the other option isnt much better you can only buy 50 minimum and 20 gp os 30 credits so your left with excess you need to buy more credits its a joke

if you buy the 50 FBCredits for $5, and don't want to have extra credits left over....
get the 40 GP for 50 FBC... it's cheaper than doing the 20 GP for 30 FBC twice...

I've occasionally bought FB Credits in game with no problem... but today it's having an issue... whatever level I click on for the in-game menu, when the pop-up opens, the purchase amount is too high.

For example, I clicked on the "Buy 200 GP's for 200 FB Credits" link. The purchase box popped up. In the top right corner it said purchase price "$20" but in the main part of the box, it said "500 FB Credits" and it tried to charge my card $50. The transaction was luckily denied b/c I only had $35 available on this card.

I did try the outside link as suggested and that did work.

ahh.... hmm... well it's correct now, just checked, the 200 says $20...
(and that one could've potentially been either GL or FB's fault)

Well it isn't fixed for me, when I click on 200 points I get the minimum of 500, the 20, 40 and 90 are the same, only offering the 90 point option, so this issue is far from fixed. The only point I have clicked on that gives me what I am selecting is the 90 points and 500 point options.

I bought 20 Galaxy points today and I was charged 10.00 dollars and still only got 20 GP. I did dispute it with Facebook I guess I will have to wait and see what happens. If they want to keep my 10.00 bucks at least give me the GP for it.

I chose to buy 200 GPs and after I paid it tells me I have 300 FB credits left. It charged my card $50. I sent a message to Dan and one to FB. This really bites.

Hi Everyone,

It looks like Facebook's purchase interface sometimes shows a $10.00 minimum purchase for some users. This appears to have changed yesterday, although we're not sure why. (Note that the Facebook Credit purchase area is provided directly by Facebook, GL only sets the price for points).

See an example of this issue below:
Image

You may want to try purchasing FB Credits via the 'Account > Payments' area if you want to purchase fewer FB credits at one time, as that doesn't seem to encounter this issue (in our testing, and based on some user reports here).

We'll be filing this issue with FB and trying to get their assistance to resolve. It appears to be affecting other apps as well. Thanks all.

The issue should now be resolved. Please let us know if you see any similar issues with the Credits window.

These are my options when buying through facebook credits

50 Credits for £3.16 GBP
100 Credits for £6.32 GBP
500 Credits for £31.61 GBP
1,000 Credits for £63.22 GBP
2,000 Credits for £126.43 GBP

so now if i get the 1000 FB credits i can only buy 1100 gp in the game whereas before i could buy the 1100 gp along with some extra left over :(
