Yesterday evening, I was disabled from full health whilst halcyoned.
I was only 40 minutes into the effect, and there was 20 minutes left on it.
I was not able to defend myself as it said I was prevented by an existing effect, and yet I watched my hull points disappear as the other player continued to attack me until I was disabled.
My understanding of a halcyon is the you cannot attack, NOR BE ATTACKED during the 1 hour duration of the effect.
I was guarding a planet at the time. The player who attacked me was not the one that I was halcyoned by. I suspect that the exploit here is that players can target a halcyoned player if they are guarding a planet.
A legionmate who coincidentally was also halcyoned and guarding the same planet was also attacked.

it's not an exploit. it's exactly as you stated: you were guarding a planet. the truce effect is nullified whilst guarding a planet (which prevents an actual truce exploit).

This was changed/explained in August. It is not an exploit. Truce effects will not protect you while guarding planets: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1331

Truce effects will not protect you while guarding planets: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1331Why not have it act like a death and just knock a person off the planet? Edit: Actuallly now that I think about it both ways it sucks but I guess being able to guard your planet would still be good. Kinda sucks tho but karma.

its a catch 22 situation. you have a choice. 1 - protect the planet with your ship, or 2 - be invulnerable from attack. You cannot be both. So if you don't want to be attacked, don't guard the planet. Because guarding a planet while halcyon'ed is a huge exploit if you cannot be attacked. The game does not allow for invulnerable Planets, and that is what would be happening if you were halcyon'ed and couldn't be attacked while guarding a planet.
Now that being said, the only people that can attack you while halycon'ed are those that have that planet scanned, and take the planet below population of 10. People cannot attack you from the battle tab, or from the "news feed".

Not to mention a Halcyon is hardly an appropriate means to 'protect' yourself. Its an enemy's trap after all...
