Alright, It's a pet hate of mine, Here's what it pretty much is.

When a guy asked for offers to what legion he goes to, Post your legion details, but please STOP swamping the thread with about 5 other people from your legion asking to go there. I know CoT (Used to) Vygoid Genome (Used to) and now it seems WDE are doing it.
I'm just saying 1-2 people can offer "Come to ....." but it just ruins the thread when heaps of people do it.

Thank you Mitch for your constructive criticism of our recruiting process. I saw the success that VG had with it, and figured we should give it a try. I was unaware that it was a problem to anyone, as I don't remember seeing any complaints from then. I will ensure that this will not be a practice we do anymore. Thank you for your time, and I apologize for any inconvenience that was brought to yourself or anyone through our show of activity and willingness to obtain active new members to accompany us in our growth.

i think they just wanted to demonstrate how active the legion is

perhaps after the initial 1 recruitment reply posting , have the rest of your guys send pm's .... it might be a little more effective that way and less intrusive for the more sensitive forum users lol

But I'm just saying the Recuitment threads are where your legion should do that. The player ones should be 1-2 offers saying come join our legion etc.

I opened up one thread, and there was about 6 players from the same legion saying it, and only a few more from different legions. It's like pressuring the guy to pick your legion.

When I get spammed like that from multiple players from the same legion, just turns me off joining that legion. I ain't everyone but there is a point when it becomes excessive an 9/10 they wont join

Is there any thread that you two are not both in and have the same opinion? I have read them all and never seen one yet.

i changed my recruitment method by adding a link in my signature that takes you to a recruitment thread that i update frequently , and just tell 'em to click it

saves time trying to type the same info over and over or even copy and pasting it , and i can give more information for the potential recruits

there ya go.. great idea... spam the guy w/ pms so he knows how active ya'll are....

To be honest, I feel the same. Yes, I understand it's showing your activity...on the forums. Not all legions have forum accounts or are active on the forums, even though they could be one of the most active legions in the game.

Anyway, when I try to recruit people I don't get Delta to swamp the page. I also find it rude because it drowns out the other requests.
WDE, keep it to 1 post, even 2 is fine if you need to add something, but 5 or 6 is just plain wrong.
