There are a lot of requests to merge legions yet not a single response to my question of how to merge and what is involved. We've worked hard to get our base to level 3 - actually close to level 4. Average level is 119 and avg strength is 2009. Not bad for a 7 member legion! Can someone provide specific, clear information on merging legions and what is involved? I don't want to lose all that we worked for. what happens to our base if we merge with a larger legion? Who decides who the officers of the new legion are? etc.

Get your member to leave your legion, and then find the other legion and click join. Usually, the leaders and officers of both legions talk it out on a comm, and go from there. As for your base, the now bigger legion may decide to keep it, as maybe a sister legion, or a training camp per se.

basically, people from legion A move to legion B. If there is overflow, some of legion B members might go to legion A, some of legion A members might stay in legion A or some members from both legions just go else where.

But really "merger" just means one legion eats another. It is a quick way to get a legion to move up on the leaderboards, but it comes a cost. Legion A's base, hurt feelings, and most likely people on the forums looking down on you for taking a short cut, especially if you brag about it.

We currently merged with a legion, our 12 players moved to a legion of 28. Currently at 40members. it feels good being apart of a larger legion, more active, more alerts etc.

Replies somewhat helpful. So, if all of the legion members leave my legion to join the other, how does the base get "merged" with the other legion? What happens to the base resources? It is not attached to anyone member but belongs to the legion. Does it stay with the last one to leave the legion? Is someone ever going to write a comprehensive guide for this game? There are so many nuances it gets difficult trying to figure it out myself.

The base stays with the legion. You lose everything you put into it.

Not exactly a guide but close enough.

So the information that I'm getting is that there really isn't anything like a merger. One legions' members just quits their initial legion en masse to join another. The base gets lost, correct? So what's this about "sister" bases or using as a training base? It seems that there is no logical incentive to merge legions at all! I am familiar with the link provided. While there is a lot of information there, there is also a lot missing. There is virtually nothing on legions or bases. Nothing on strategy. While I realize this is an icredibly complex game, I do wish the creators would put a better guide together. Thanks to all for the info. Maybe we'll see eachother in battle or possibly as allies in the future.

yup like I said one legion eats the other.

Sister legions are just another legion usually with lower ranks that don't make the cut for the main legion. They trade and protect each other. Not something to really strive for, maybe if you are the main legion ya, but honestly it is just more of a burden than bonus to have one.
