So...have planet flux artifacts been removed from items you can gain from AP generation?

Since the fix I haven't seen one (spending about 52K APs every day). At least I got ONE quasi-expander since they were put in game.

I'm wondering if it's just been stealth removed from artifacts?

Only semi-stealth... Dan mentioned recently.

I agree, it really sucks. I had 46 flux probes and keep getting more. Now I know which planets need to be fluxed but have no way to flux one!

what exactly does the planet flux artifact do? I haven't acquired one yet but have heard about them?

A planetary flux will remove your planet from everyones' scans. So if I have your planet on my list and you flux it, it will disappear. When you steal a good planet from someone, you should flux it so it can't be shared with the rest of their legion.

that seems like a sweet artifact I just haven't got one yet and I have pretty good artifact production?...thanks for the info on that though!

My best planet was stolen and Fluxed. So all I can do is cloak up, hack away and hope for a critical hack that gives me the planet or a better one.
With GL it'll be months of hacking before I get the special critical hack!

Thru Artifacts, it ate a big chunk of AP, took a while before i understood it wasnt flux probe

You get them from NPC drops now.....they are mythical now to get....really does stink. they may have been to easy to get before, but this is ridiculous and not a good nerf. Its clear this is been to generate more money for Dan. In a free game its very hard to complain about anything done to generate income for Dan.

What type of NPC's have given Planet Flux's.
Do you remember approximately the AP cost for Planet Flux (I max out at 34,000) Generally I'll let it approach the max and then bring it down to just below 20,000 since that is the cost for the artifact that give 60 cargo spaces.

i have used a planet flux on a couple of occasions, earlier today being the most recent. sadly, they do not seem to work !
however, i have had other people attack and steal planets from me, and then they disappear from my list ! i even get a notice that a planet has disappeared, and if i still have a link for it, that planet is no longer in scanning range.
so why won't these artifacts work for me?

If the planet was legion shared it wont disapear from the people it got shared to, only the ones who actually scanned it.

It purged it from his database, but it's still in his newsfile for a day or so. He saw it in time and was able to react and recapture it is probably what happened. At least I assume that's probably it, maybe one of the more experienced folks around here can confirm this.

the issue isn't with legion sharing. it's that the person attacking could still see it.
i've had a cpl planets stolen from me and even if my news still lists the planet, once you click the link, the planet is no longer in scanning range.
i guess maybe i expect more from an incredibly hard-to-get artifact than that ...

A legion share can view fluxed planets as long as the share lasts. if it is shared before the planet is fluxed, the previous owner can use their own share to see the planet.
