 Bounty / HeadHunting

I would like to see a part of GL having headhunting, where one can put a price on somebodys "head"
game charges you for the credits you choose, and only pays out when target is disabled.

offer could be artifacts, RP's, credits, to put a buonty on somebody

It may be a bit hard to set up but that would put a new spin on PVP. I think I would enjoy that even thou I wouldn't put anyone on it. That way others could fight me as well. If we did this thou I think there would need to be a set limit on the times one can have a bounty on him/her so its not one after another.

I think it should not as much be a limit on number of bounties but limited on rewards. five 1k credit bounties are pointless against one 1mil credit bounty.

This also alows a tactical weapon for revenge, as bounties would last well past legion shares. Say you lose a planet to a player 40 levels above you, but no one in your legion can help you. (or even if you dont have a legion) lets see how they like to have a 1,000,000,000 credit bounty!

I think multiple bounties on one person would work. They would all just be added in to one large bounty. So say I've pissed off several low level players who then put a bounty of 25k, 100k, and 500k on my head, and one high level player puts a 50m bounty on my head. My total bounty would be 50,625,000.

Bounties should have a decent fee, maybe 25%, so that a 50,000,000 bounty costs the player an extra 12,500,000 to send out the "Bounty Alert." Heck, you could have an option to NOT send out an alert, but just add to any existing bounties for only 10%, or 5,000,000. Also, make the credits non-refundable. That way, there aren't too many bounties being placed just for spite. When the "Bounty Alert" expires, the reward doesn't. Whoever the lucky devil is that finds me in the battle tab and destroys me gets a LOT of dough for doing so.

Of course, this would mean that your 'Ship Stats' tab would have to display any bounty you had on your head, and how old it was.

Obviously, once a bounty was collected, any "Bounty Alert" would expire, and the poster or posters of the bounty would be informed that his/their target was disabled.
