BabyX is a heavy frigate that had a 188 attack and like 50 defense was doing more damage then me with 1290 attack and 2100 defense, i can see what he is equiped with so is there something im missing or does this person need to be kicked

This 188 attack and 50 defence... was it the figures at the top? They are not accurate. Try attack/defence probing them.

Also, a heavy frigate will have a low damage cap, restricting the damage you can do.

your damage cap is proportional to your number of decks. Small ship = small damage ~ large ship = large damage.
he did more because you are bigger and he is smaller.

why do people keep forgetting to figure in the levels of the players as well?
max damage you can receive = your max decks/2 OR (your level+19)/2... whichever is greater


anyway, yes, either damage cap is to blame, or you forgot to use spy probes on the guy..... (you can't see their actual atk and def until you do, because helmsmen and tac officers aren't included in the numbers shown during an attack)...

one more possibility... are either of you Xecti? don't forget to properly calculate the true atk and def with xecti bonus if that's the case... spy probe value * 1.4 ... for both atk and def, assuming you're attacking them... if they're attacking you, they don't get a xecti bonus, you do

he won't have known the exact dmg per shot if he was being attacked, so i would say he was doing the attacking

but yeah, there are ppl with minimal deck(rank+19, any smaller is pointless) and then full officer build.... low atk from just staring at the number pop up or calculate via module, but freakishly beefy if you probe

It seems a majority of players are not aware of this or at least some of the newer ones.

Trade-Offs
