it would be really nice to have toggle buttons on the traps. currently once you set the trap its set for 7 days and you cant remove it. the situation you set it for may have passed, and a totally new situation requiring a new set of traps is not possible because they are locked in.

what im suggesting is to have the traps life stay 7 days, but during which they can be in a disabled status where they will not go off if attacked. they will have to be manually enabled in the ship screen.

this would add a HUGE amount of flexibility to combat where i can set only the traps i need at any given time such as a virus. its kinda pointless to use a virus and a halcyon at the same time. i would want to use the virus during the day without the halc, then put the halc on at night. same goes for the mines that blow up.

EDIT: an additional idea is to have the buttons capable of setting traps too. the buttons should be grayed out if they have no traps available, the Enable button could enable the trap you have on currently or if one is not set set a new one and enable it. the disable button will just disable the trap.

I would rather stick with my 4 active traps. hyclon and virus may be redundant, but they don't have to trigger at the same time.
