Yep. Dark Arms NPCs just came in today I think so it dropped Planet Flux (Finally!) and also two terraformers too with few other toys. Yes, you are right, toxic purifier is my favorite one that really helps to solve my money problem and I have way too many uncolonized toxic planets waiting to be colonized.

I found out that fighting NPC's are a faster way of increasing my rank. 8 more levels to go and I will be able to receive those Rank 150+ mobs.

Yep! NPC farming really helps the Dysonians to advance much faster (legion exp average goes up faster) than normal than if they are doing just missions and PVP.. Basically.. Why do PVP if NPC gives much better rewards? Dan is doing good job to give good incentive to players to focus on NPCs so GL can be a better place and less grievances.. Boss NPCs really give BEST exp of all.. Huge, phat exp upon kills..

Whoa! It's a tough bugger!! It's first NPC that ever forced me to repair my hull and recharge my shield just ONCE!! It debuffed my defense by 40% that started causing lot of damage (200 to 250 hp) for every attack that I caused about 350 to 400.. I do have 6,075 attack (buffed and I have 845 tactical officers to help out), 6526 hp hull (unbuffed), 5420 hp shield (buffed with amp) and 2473 defense (unbuffed but 575 helmsmen to help out). I guess 20% defense buff artifact is a must for that fortress.. Forcing me to repair my hull even just once shows that my ship isn't even strong enough for that crap lol. Time to strengthen my ship more..


EDITED: We just killed it.. Loot isn't that great at all. Stryll Prey Tracker is just an upgraded Stryll module of 75 scan (upgraded from 50 scan). Limit 2. Once we get both then best we can get is rescued prisoners as farmable loot but nothing too excited. It seems that trackers are more common drop than prisoners.. Vaults from Reynards are more interesting heh. I would think that this prison is very tough and took lot of energy out of lot of players only for tiny reward wouldn't be that incentive to continue.. It sure is one of toughest fight we ever faced..

If there was a Legion rank for MOST NPC kills I believe we will be tops on that too. I believe we had more than 50 elite and or bosses just for this friday hehe.

Speaking for the sub 150 class, I know Noc also placed a ship size limit as an additional requirement if you were below 150. I know at least myself and Remric have pretty large ships for our levels, this fact alone allows us to keep up with the level deficit. I think I am currently the lowest at 137, so it won't last long anyway. Everyone will be above 150 soon.

Speaking as another under 150, I just hit the heavy titan class last night. Of course, I started in the Legion at 140 and now at 148.5 lol

We just killed it.. Loot isn't that great at all. Stryll Prey Tracker is just an upgraded Stryll module of 75 scan (upgraded from 50 scan). Limit 2. Once we get both then best we can get is rescued prisoners as farmable loot but nothing too excited. It seems that trackers are more common drop than prisoners.. Vaults from Reynards are more interesting heh. I would think that this prison is very tough and took lot of energy out of lot of players only for tiny reward wouldn't be that incentive to continue.. It sure is one of toughest fight we ever faced..

Lol! Good job, The Dysonians! We, once again, changed some mechanics in GL.. NPC boss spawn rate got nerfed I think since yesterday or two nights ago.. Seems nerfed little more than 50% or something.. I'm sorry that it also affects all other legions that will see much fewer NPC bosses due to their low amount of NPC deaths per day as legion compared to us..

It makes sense because before the nerf, NPC bosses we killed were way too common. We spawned average 20ish NPC bosses per day and they really helped us to advance faster than normal in ship power and rank. We were STRUGGLING to keep up with our energy that we can't afford to waste on PVP and missions.. NPC boss labelled "Extremely rare" should act like extremely rare.. Yet, we see those SEVERAL 'extremely rare' NPC bosses on daily basis.. Now, they are rare maybe 2-3x a day instead of 15+ ..

We were becoming too efficient at NPC killing so I guess that Dan didn't want it be that way and would benefit Dysonians too much so nerf was necessary.. We will see more NPCs once we hit 50 however but less than we used to see before..

After the nerf, we were finally able to waste some energy on PVP and missions that we weren't able to do before.. When we finally see NPC boss spawned, we all jumped in and kill it in no time flat cuz not many NPC bosses around now..

Well, we had AWESOME run in last two weeks and we all were benefitting alot from loot and rank.. Sorry for new Dysonians who joined us too late for nice run but we still enjoy more NPC boss killing compared to other legions who will see reduced NPC boss spawn rates..

Finally got a Dark Complex Thruster after 3 kills.. Although Im not complaining about the Dark Pylon Shifter but Ship parts are cool I just hope when i get 4 thruster upgrade I will be able to get the Dark Pylon Shifter Dark Pylon Shifter most of the times so i can install them on most of my beloved planets.

Boss got nerfed??? whoa.. at least we still had lost of them to fight.. I counted 4 since last night.. 1 i was not able to join.

Maybe I claimed the "nerf" prematurely. Boss NPC spawn rate seems is back. Maybe we just had a 2-days dry spell run or spawn rate got fixed as Dan sees this cuz when I mentioned nerf, NPCs spawn rate came back normal.. Coincidence? Dunno..
