The game just came back from maintenance, and I was spending the research points that arrived while the game was down. I had about 7k points, and after I spent them it still said I had 2.5k available (my hourly production). I had not finished a level of research, but I clicked the button again thinking there was a glitch or something and it hadn't spent all the points that were there. But the number of points I had available did not change... and then I noticed that it said I had just spent 10k points of research, not 2.5k like I (supposedly) had available. And my "available" research is still ticking up. In the last 10 minutes I have accrued 4x my hourly production. My husband's account is doing the same thing.

I think I've spent about 15k more research than I should have had available, but I'm not entirely sure because I didn't notice right away and wasn't paying close attention. I've stopped poking it for the time being.

This problem still exist. (or is back ;) )
After spending research point I'm :
- getting my hourly production (all - artif & research & minerals)
- my points are reset to max capacity (all - artif & research & minerals)

those 2 options are chosen randomly as I see. Shields and energy regeneration seems ok
