 Calming amplifier and halcyon trap

Calming Amplifier
Prevents your ship from being attacked,
but also prevents your ship from attacking. Lasts 4 hours.
This effect is immune to removal from enemy artifacts,
but will be removed if you perform any offensive actions against other players.

and

Halcyon Trap
[ Trap - 1 Week ] When applied, an attacking ship
has a chance to cause you to be pacified for 2 hours,
being unable to attack or be attacked by others.
This trap will be removed if you perform any offensive actions against other players.



Yet if I go to attack a player then it will say I cannot because I have an artifact on preventing me from attacking.

The only way to remove them is if I hack but shouldn't I be able to attack a player normally for it to clear them because it is classed as an offensive action against another player as well.

one you are under truce you cant use any artifact under the label "Enemy Artifact" not even weapon probes.

then yep, hack or raid (or maybe a planet invasion on a planet someone else has brought down to invasion level) are the only ways of breaking the halc...

thing is though... if you have the calming amp or halc aura.... it means you haven't pvp'd in the last 24 hours.... so what's a few more hours then? just wait it out...

The point i was trying to make it that it doesn't let you simply attack a player to clear the truce even though that counts as offensive action
