 remove void shells

Although the artifact follows the same frame as Shield Sentries and Sentry Guards, a temporary planet cloak boost has great drawbacks.
1. it may help prevent others finding the planet, but only for 1 day, and how many people scan on any particular day?
2. it has absolutely no effect against players who have already scanned the planet.
3. for what it's worth, I would not spend 550 AP and a cargo space to get it, and I would not spend 5 precious energy to use it.

As an alternative, perhaps making it into a planet trap that might deflect 1 person from scanning it? (like a flux, but only as a prevention and has a chance to fail?)

I agree that void shell sucks, I'd rather it be more like a faux flux where it only temporarily vanishes from everyone else's scan for 1 day and then discreetly comes back once the effect wears off

i like the one that blocks one successful scan of the planet. that would be very useful and could last 7 days. the only drawback is that if someone had enough of them it will be impossible to find unless hacked. maybe one that increased the defense % making it that much harder to detect, but for 7 days?

I agree, this artifact is practically useless. Even the one's from this weeks mission are a waste. I scrapped mine.

*signed* all temporary cloak items for planets = suckage because once scanned they don't become 'unscanned' via cloak

If the void shell was changed to add 5 permanent cloak to a planet, then it would be awesome.

Yes but it would have to have an increased cost and an increased rarity.

It could be turned into a cloaking chassis.

There are currently no chassis in game that are purely cloaking only that can be gained through AP, so its not in game.

the Zolazin Void Tower might not be randomly obtainable through AP, but that only increases it's rarity. that's what I thought you had tricked him into asking for
