 Dark Eluder Matrix not working properly

Post Dark Eluder Matrix not working properly
Unless I'm misreading the effect of the Dark Eluder Matrix, it's not giving me +10% defense when fighting bases.

My defense stays the same regardless if I'm fighting NPC's or Bases, but my effects clearly show that Dark Eluder Matrix is active on me.
