Elite and Boss-level NPCs can now be alerted at any time, and will not share an alert timer with your player and planet alerts. Happy hunting!
Battle experience labels have been clarified and extended for a wider range of players. The label will also now appear when viewing a player's stats.
Less than 25: Beginner 25 - 99: Novice 100 - 399: Experienced 400 - 699: Adept 700 - 1999: Seasoned 2000 - 3999: Veteran 4000 - 7999: Champion 8000 - 15999: Master 16000 - 31999: Grand Master 32000 - 63999: Legend 64000 - 127999: Grand Legend 128k +: Epic Legend
Hack and Raid success timers have been reduced to 15 minutes (down from 25)
All special materials (including exotic matter) no longer take up space in cargo.
The research item detail now displays remaining points, in addition to the new progress bar.
Terraforming Device and Planet Flux will appear much less frequently in artifact shipments, but will start to appear from a greater variety of NPCs.Nice changes!! Especially cargo!!! Exotic matter was one of biggest culprit of cargo space! Now it's NO MORE!! OH YES!!! I suddenly get lot free space now! I'm sure that so many players are relieved as well. Awesome about epic/boss alert that is now independent from player alert system! Good going! (thanks Kaos for bringing this matter up). I don't see any tweakings needed from that update..

Bad change IMO, because those who had high AP before gained alot of theese and could increase their planets even more, while as now normal people that didnt get all thouse teraformers are way gimped and put behind even more. I have gotten maybe 5 in total from AP since i started playing..

I'd imagine at higher levels it's much easier to farm NPC's than AP's. The qeustion is what kind of NPC's drop them. At least it makes it where you don't need mad arti planets to be able to get them, which could have gimped you if you were'nt able to find enough arti planets.

Good Morning!
In my opinion:
The notification thing is okay I guess... maybe other people spawn elites more often than I do, but I think I have had two since they came out, though I have started taking out more Drannik drones to see if that will provoke more hub spawns...
The Hack and Raid timers is probably a good idea, since we are limited on how many times we can do them to one person per day, though I personally do not do those much...
The specials not counting anymore is cool... exotic was not so bad at 100/space, but the XTS-9 was 5/space.
The research remaining spot was a nice change.
Terraforming and Planet Flux... I do not know who was having these pop up regularly in artifact shipments, but it sure was not me... maybe it was just my bad luck, but I had only received one Terraforming Device through artifact shipments, and the other two came from defeating NPC ships. I do not know if this was a positive change, unless the ships that drop them will appear more frequently as well...
Thanks for reading!

Ah...and only three more terraformers to go to complete the mission. Which NPCs drop them, does anyone know? I've only ever come across one rare (spawned) NPC.

I *think* Dark Scrap Carriers have a chance to drop them. I've killed several and had a lot of random stuff from them. Dan said in the last update that the chances of getting one from an NPC has been greatly increased so it's possible that not just the chance drop has increased, but the types of enemies that drop them may have increased too.

Thanks for reading! Hmm, I realize that hack and raid timers only made my job easier because the restriction DOESN'T even matter when I fight lot of players in battle tab in my rank range. I usually hack hack til finally disabled then raid raid then that player repaired then I move on to next victim and repeat. It only speeds up my hack/raid frequency before he has time to respond. Restriction means NOTHING because I simply change victim in the battle tab every 1-2 hours.. Too early to make any conclusions on terraformers by moving them from artifact shipments to NPCs. If in-flow average of terraformers stay the same then that works.. I enjoy getting them with my high artifact production however. ;( I believe that Dan is trying to increase the incentive to fight NPCs by diverting serious PVPers from PC to NPCs... Wow! Lately after the update on NPC alert system being independent.. DOO players had been able to share much more NPCs and we were able to farm so many now that sure kept us busy and kept our energies depleted! That sure might take our mind off PVP heh.

Where can I get terraformers now? The update completely changed what I do with my energy. I was doing the exotic chain before and hoping to get terraformers from AP to unlock the project collosus mission. I just researched 2 tiers of weapons tech and blew a load of energy on NPCs and it turned an extremely rich mining planet into a 5x mega rich mining planet. I had too many credits in the first place and I have no idea how to get terraformers. I guess I can go back to my 6 week plan to get +10 buildings.

Just start killing NPC's, you are sure to get them, and it would be easier actually.

past 20+ PCs NPCs are the way to go. Once you max out the PvP part of the game beating the #&$# out of the NPCs seems like the best course.
But that is me. I do play this game for the story and the fact that is it very easy to get into and plan for.

I've killed 290 NPCs and haven't gotten a terraformer and I've gotten 9 or 10 from artifact shipments, I just wish I had used all of them on the mission now. I just want to unlock project collosus so I can just pay money to get a dyson.

I have been keeping an eye on the NPCs and using al that I have gottrn from AFs (3 total so far) on the mission/ While now much rarer I hope the extra number of NPCs is seen and expanded for having them be the mager way to get them/

What level are dark scrap carriers? I could have gone out of their level range since I haven't seen one in a while.

I don't remember from the last one of those I fought (level 70 maybe?), but a T.O. Troop Carrier just dropped one - level was either 110 or "matched" (I think "matched")...

Much h8 for greatly reducing the chance of getting terraformers and fluxes from artifact shipments. Please revert this change because artifact shipments only seem to yield 4 things now:
Subspace scanners, non-flux probes, planetary defense or cloak items and traps (which aren't really even all that useful now that people cannot chain you anymore).
On a side note: please reduce the 'cost' of subspace scanners to 1k or something similar (I have 7 of them that are collecting dust).

Wow, two uncommon NPCs in one day! I got two decent arties, but neither of them were terraformers. What drops them?
I'm REALLY hoping I come across a rare or elite NPC soon...
