I know how this works, but... is there anyway to share a planet with only ONE friend?? I want to send one to my son, but not to everyone in my Legion.

Unless you plan on 'de-friending' all of your legion except your son, there is no way for to share a scan with one person.

If you need to share a planet for a particular player, consider having your son leave your legion, invade your planet, then re-join your legion. Or have him be online at the same time you send the alert and hope that he's the first to it.

So do I. Looks like the game needs a secure channel artifact so you can contact one person or an option for sending messages to individuals.

I recommend sharing it with the message "Reserved, Don't Colonize." Then PM your son letting him know the planet is for him.

The "Reserved, don't colonize" doesn't work in many cases. There was a planet intended for me with this message and still someone else took the planet. I got it back, but be warry. I suggest using "Send with message:" and type the player's name in after the ':' before you click it.
