wouldnt it be exciting to have this added,just imagine ,your being totally out gunned with no chance of victory against this all powerfull ship that you cant even put a dent in. so your only remaining chance is to hit the LS BUTTON and pray that he doesnt possess one. i think this could add a new dimention to the game,should really give this alot of thought dan,it will work im sure.

also,what about some sort of vapourizer weapon,maybe an artifact that gives you the chance to defeat your enemy when fired. could make this a very special artifact that when used ,takes away all enrgy ,hull and shields from enemy and costs you half energy to use.

Your idea was disproved once. And it will be disproved again. Once of the reason was because it didn't make sense.

why it not make sense.....your getting beat up rite,off a big guy,then you remember that you picked up a very special artifact that gives you advanced power of speed (LS),this costs alot of nrg to use but mite let you escape unless the other ship has this (LS) ASWELL.if other ship does have it then its a matter of choice whether he hunts you down or not. thats just 1 other way of having (LS) IN GAME,theres lots of ways this could be installed. does that make sense now.

Its not like its a 3D game where you have set points in space to run from or to. It just doesn't work for this game.

since you are able to visit 100's of planets at a time, it is assumed that your ship already goes at least the speed of light

what you may be wanting is a trap for your ship that closes the attack window and deletes you from the attacker's battle tab
