 Repair Bay, Currently Useless

1. Should be available to all legion members, regardless of research lvl.
2. You cant actually use it within the 5 min cool-down of your ships repair.

which means the only time you can use it is if you have a normal repair function available, utterly pointless gimmick at the mo.

Its fair limitations. It encourages the members to do some base research. Also you can either waste credits or use repair bay both on same timer almost.

meh, I just kinda feel that, docking with a space station should not mean you have to know how to build one, it highly silly. For a space faring vessel to be built and manned before having the ability to dock with anything is daft as a brush. Either Docking should be the very first tier of research or there should be a lot more reasons to research this stuff. Only the top members contributors should have to research on the Legion tree, for everyone else its just a rather pointless research sink.
I love the concept as a whole, just things need a minor tweaking is all.

taken as a whole, it does save a significant amount of credits. Look at it this way. With a max repair bill of 200M, and the ability to use it 48 times a day, it could save a legion up to 9.6B in credits overall. But from a single ship's point of view, it really isn't much better than a gimmick. First module to go out the window if there's a need for more space for production or berths.

I'd say the shield recharger is better though, because you normally have to wait to recharge.

only two people can use our shield charger...me and our super heavy NPCer, he and I will use the shield charging bay instead of the repair bay to lessen the load on our repair bay, which is almost always grayed out from use

-1 to that. I would rather it not be changed... but if it were say Seperate repair bay and repair timer. If anyone could use it without the research that wouldnt be balanced. 5 Minutes per member uh thats way overpowered. 30 min for all members is logical because the repair bay after use has to restock and let certain machines cool down.

Can we have something like 10 mins for all members, separate to your current timer, needs to be researched? Personally, I use it every now and then to save money, but generally I can't be bothered to make the 2 extra clicks to find the repair bay. :roll:

I've always thought it should grant a few repair slots with the current timer.
