Porowyn's Arrival

Daily Mission Briefing

After so much time, we finally meet. My full name is Porowynwarka of Prismoda. I am an Adept that was chosen to find you. I have traveled a great distance to be here, and I look forward to the path ahead.

Mission Dialogue

Porowyn: You must have many questions...
What are you doing here?

Porowyn: I have been sent here from Prismoda, the Prime Relic. Word of your accomplishments has reached the Enlightened Council itself, and by dutiful obligation, I have been dispatched to you personally.
I don't understand...

Porowyn: Yes, as wise and knowledgeable as you have become, there is much of this galaxy you have yet to uncover. Many view Prismoda as simply a place for clarity, and may know it by other names, but there is so much more beneath its surface.
I've never heard of it.

Porowyn: It is a Prismatic world, not unlike your own. It is the first, much more developed, and much more deeply integrated into the energies of the others. Also like yours, it cannot be located by any conventional technology.
But you found me.

Porowyn: Quite right. Over time, your exposure to Prismodyne energies changes your physical signature. Adepts are the only ones trained to detect this.
So what are your intentions?

Porowyn: If you are to grow and develop further, you will need a mentor. I intend to be your personal guide.
Grow and develop... into what exactly?

Porowyn: We want you to transcend into something greater... to join the rare few that have real influence on this galaxy... on the many galaxies.
I've done quite well already.

Porowyn: Real power lies not in your weapons, or your vast assortment of factories and workers, but in higher knowledge... knowledge that is coveted and shared by few. There are secrets of this universe that have been passed down longer than this galaxy has existed.
And you've come to share this knowledge?

Porowyn: I've come to show you the path to it, but the rest is up to you. Power like this... is not easily controlled. There is no safe way to navigate what you will encounter, even with my guidance. Beings much smarter than you have been destroyed by it. You will have to willingly assume these risks.
But I still don't understand... why me?

Porowyn: There are forces in this universe... malevolent and powerful forces, that, left unchecked, would consume even the void left behind from our destruction. Your acquisition of such a planet was not an accident. You were chosen... and you are needed if we are to have a chance at stopping it.
When does this... evil... force arrive?

Porowyn: In several centuries, but work must continue now... on pace, to have even the slightest chance at success.
How can you predict that far into the future?

Porowyn: Because some in our ranks are from varying instances of it. Everything is connected.
Are all beings on Prismoda like you?

Porowyn: No. The Enlightened Council of Adepts represents a number of races, (Race Specific) included. My people, the Bahreen, aren't one of the oldest races, but we were the first chosen to occupy Prismoda. You will learn much of our history in time.
Will I be granted an audience with the council?

Porowyn: Your eagerness pleases me, but due to our priorities, that will have to wait.
And... how do I begin? Is there a... test of some kind?

Porowyn: You have already passed. I wouldn't be here otherwise. Our first priority is to create what we call a 'Philtery' between Prismoda and the Prismatic world you control.
What is it for?

Porowyn: Prismatic worlds are created from primordial seeds. They are the relics of powerful devices called Prismodynes left behind during the creation of the galaxy. Over eons, debris slowly coalesced over the artifacts, forming the planets we currently occupy.
Fascinating. So... at the core of the planet... is a Prismodyne?

Porowyn: Yes. Prismoda is the oldest and largest. It is where I come from. I am a class of Adept known as Warka... born on Prismoda and imbued with Prismodyne energy from birth.
We've been studying the strange energies and phenomena that have been occurring. It has attracted some of the smartest minds and most talented government officials I've ever worked with.

Porowyn: As expected, and as it should. The Prismodynes were created to enforce balance. As time passes you will learn a great deal about them and how they function.
So this... Philtery... what does it do exactly?

Porowyn: Now that you have grown your world considerably, it is time for it to join the energy network of the Prismatic Grid, including Prismoda itself. The Philtery binds the energies of the worlds together. Physically separate, but energetically as one.
How many other worlds are there?

Porowyn: A growing number are connected now... each unique and purposeful in their own way.
So... the goal is to join them all?

Porowyn: Yes, but only when the time is right. It will be a process that will far outreaches your lifetime... and mine, and it is only the beginning of the larger mission.
Ok.

Porowyn: I gather you are consenting to continue? You will be entering an era of duty and purpose that eclipses anything you've done before, and there is no going back.
I... have more questions first... questions about my encounters that we've yet to answer.

Porowyn: I respect that your quest for knowledge is vastly incomplete, but without proper enlightenment, unfettered revelations of extragalactic events will be your undoing. I came to help you discover them for yourself, but only when you are truly ready.
Alright, then... I consent. Let's begin.

Porowyn: Very good. To establish the Philtery, my ship will need to maintain a connection between your planet and Prismoda during its development. I have already provided detailed plans.
Yes, I have them.

Porowyn: The construction process will release some of the Prismodyne energy from within the core. We will use this energy to strengthen my connection with Prismoda during my meditation.
Understood.

Porowyn: Once the process is complete, we will move to the next phase of your development.
What phase is that?

Porowyn: Harnessing these new energies, of course.
