Scientists experimenting with robotic A.I. "companions" made an unfortunate error in the bots' affection algorithms, causing these "Q-Pedds" to rebel and flee in nearby science transport ships. The Q-Pedds took much of the related equipment with them.
To those that may detect any roaming Q-Pedd ships: seizing back this equipment is of great importance.
Currently an unplayable race that appear during the QPedd_(seasonal_event) each February.
