Really so put in something that doesnt change the number of mouse clicks will help? please just put a "attack till disabled or locked" button on NPC's, now that would change the having to click alot but then you might as well just put a "play the game for me button".

It would save a bunch of time. The amount of time it takes to click the x button every time you kill a NPC and then click on the next NPC takes a ton of time. If Dan made it so you could do both of those steps in one step without really having to move your mouse at all you could easily kill 2X the NPC's in the amount of time it takes now. If not more for later ranks.

Well with the screen shot ideas that was put up you click the "more option" button wait for it to load click "attack next target" button wait for it to load and then you start attacking.

With how it is now is you click the X the tab loads a new npc then you click target wait for it to load and then you start attacking.

Same amount of time and clicks used the only difference is the amount of time used to move your mouse and that is negligible, in fact this new idea would be even slower after a moments thought seeing as the NPC tab is currently made to refresh when you hit the X so after you clear out the npcs you had you have to go out and refresh the whole npc tab a couple times to get your full load back.

Thats not what I see. I see his first post as once you kill the NPC then it just gives you the next NPC option right next to where the attack button was. So it would just be one click and very close to the attack button. If I've been looking at it wrong the whole time my bad your right it wouldn't make much of a diff but if I am right and that is how he put it then it would save a ton of time.

First of all, my idea would mean not having to close or refresh the battle tab anymore, if you have say 1 elite in your NPC list you would just click new NPC till your heart was content, no need to close the NPC lock, less time spend opening and closing locks, more time spent hitting and killing NPC's = feels like you are making progress more. With the quick tab option you would spend less time searching and using artifacts and more time killing NPC's which is what you want to be doing.

The only thing I can live without here is the quick tab idea. Dan made it so you can just type something in and find it really easily and I'm fine with that the way it is.

A quicktab for artifacts on NPCs yes that would be very handy for npc and pvp fights instead of having to scroll though hundreds of artifacts to find the one you want. but a quicktab to attack the next target not really doesnt speed it up at all.

I would think programatically this could improve time as well .. when you click the x you are closing a window running a query to populate the bt rerendering the battle tab window.. clicking a new npc which then re renders the just closed window .. with the quick tab or next npc option.. no need to dump the current window .. just repopulate the already open window. I think this is a good idea .. and I give a hearty +1

lol we seem to never really agree on anything. While I respect your view points I do still disagree. You can just type in what you want in the quick search for arti's and get just that one up at top. No scrolling needed. And I hold to my view on the next NPC idea. lol
