Hi , I have been told many times about how pvp is dead and I thought of a way to maybe kick start it at least for a while :
A new daily mission that lasts 2 weeks that needs 10 red badges per completion to get a new gun for your ship
now if you do the mission several times the gun improves with each completion and if you finnish the mission ( 14 times ) you get a bonus reward perhaps something like a dark smugglers cashe or something
But back to the gun : say around size 20 attack 200 and for every completion it gets better by 10%
AND ( now this is the other idea I had ) special feature of the gun is it gets a 10% bonus attack when used against ships that are higher level than you !
I feel that the mission will get pvp going , also the special feature is an incentive for lower levels to hit the big guys , what do you guys think ?

What I think? RBs for missions? Hell yeah... I'm sure not just Red Badges but the other Badges should be utilize for future missions. +1 Rex.

+1 from me also. I always like the idea of modules that improve with usage. I mean, from a role playing stand point, your skill with wielding your light saber should be better the longer you practice it. Maybe our tactical officers become more efficient with the ship's guns or whatever you want to imagine.

Am I reading it right where it says you only need 140.reds and that's it?
If so id say modify it so there isn't a cap, or maybe 100 completions. Each completion powers the gun up.

Yeah that sounds good , basically im not worring or even that bothered about the specifics im more interested in the general idea .

I don't see where PvP is dead and needs kickstarting or just how this is supposed to kickstart PvP.
You are gatherings reds for some other reason - doesn't actually make PvP better low ranks have a better attack against high ranks - what is the point of bettering your ship if someone is just gonna get a bonus because you made yourself better Oh you just spent time ranking? Lets make your ship weaker than mine purely because you have an extra rank on me. -1
And I do enjoy PvP from time to time, it hasn't changed much for me in 1000 ranks except now most people I badge have geminis.

+1 if Dan fixes the BT, i can only find lower ranks, maybe 1 in 100 is a higher rank
