Its part of the system if you have the ability to see someone, they will appear on your bt even if they are diasabled.

yes, well dan needs to get off his ass and start fixing all these MINOR issues, that are ruining gameplay.. what happens when you find 5 or 6 people on your bt zeroed, they just sit there. they should be able to be bumped IF HE CANT FIX THE PROBLEM OF THEM BEING REMOVED FROM SHOWING UP.
there are so many little issues that im sure he could work on and we would all say thanks for doing it.

And there in lies the rub. When dan does do something like a major update / release or anything else hardley anyone thanks him for it. Instead he gets a bunch of bellyaching and "thanks for the bone" comments. From a personal observation it is appeaering that his job as game dev has become thankless.

Case 1:
Exotica update- yay exotica was fixed / dangit i have to get the medal again

Case 2:
Gtc - long awaited / yay its out / wtf is this crap??? - for the record i love the gtc

Case 3:
Medals- ooh shiney / something to try to pump more action into the game / these things mean notthing, i wont be participating in it, but thanks for the bone dan.

Case 4:
No content for upper ranks- well i rather feel like this is a self dug grave on both parties accounts. 1, the uppers have boat loads of energy. 2, auto ranking has become the thing to strive for. 3, failure to forsee changes in game atmosphere to accomidate a massive energy bar.

Sidenote to case 4: as a dev its pretty hard to accomidate a player who has a massive supply of disposable resources while at the same time giving them something to strive for.

ill agree with the responses he gets from the updates, but he has to be the one to re tweak what hes released. plain and simple. fix what isnt working or is causing the most issues and move onto the next one... exploits get fixed, inconveniences just sit around for...well.. FOREVER. and thats the problem.

Ive never had exotica, but i certainly wouldnt complain about having to get it a second time, if i was one of those who partook in the shady abandoning dealings with it. (not saying i wouldnt grab it if i seen it abandoned and i wasn't part of those cheating legions)

the gtc is alright.. thats as far as ill go with it.. it allows more people to trade (at super inflated prices, but yes its there to everyone, not just people who have forum accounts or who join fb groups)

medals... yeah im going for them, im a collector , but not everyone is, and im still waiting for this 'used later in the game' stuff that dad foreshadowed when he brought them out... nope, not a word about any of that being tossed around.

the upper ranks issue... well, im quickly getting there, but it IS a two way street... you can only program so much content for higher ranks who DO have TONS of energy, and the fact that NOTHING is being released for them is whats bothering most of them. ONE npc doesnt quite qualify as high rank content...
Ive got plenty of missions that are requiring probably a million or more energy that i need to finish, but thats quickly dwindling and im only at 6K energy, so dan NEEDS to work on some high rank missions that have GOOD rewards, not the sht hes releasing now. im reasonably sure hes got a friend or two who knows how to program, and with a bit of guidance, he could assist him in game expansions.

while agreed the 1 NPC doesnt really specify as content, the obscure rarity of it keeps them busy looking for it, auto ranking off of NPCs, and getting a higher energy bar -> I revisit the failure to produce content for a growing atmosphere.

my question is if Dan released a mission that requireds thousands of energy ( for this lets just assume 3k energy ) PER CLICK how much would the uppers get upset by it? it would be something to keep them busy, and upon completion ?? perhaps another mission that required THOUSANDS of energy per click? personally I see a hole that has been dug, and almost no way out...but hey feel free to correct me if im wrong, I can only read what has been posted.

I'm rather fond of my 920 energy max, keeps me where all the fun stuff is, cant do terribly much sure, but im garunteed to get alot out of the game.

i would welcome a mission like that. but the reward HAS to be worth it.. you cant ask for such an energy drain for NO reward. or a minor piss off award. see the current weekly for an example lol. anyone who CAN complete it DOES NOT WANT IT IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM, excep HALLUCINATIONS for his beastly research dyson at 88X

which brings me to sidenote 2, everytime a suggestion is made for the higher ranks it gets shot down. Now granted those suggestions are coming from those who arnt upper ranks, but still they are suggestions. However I rarely see suggestions from upper ranks for content for upper ranks aside from saying "we need more stuff". most of the time what they suggest are thigns to fix in game, such as the actions counter for TM's -> not saying thats bad or anything, that is something that is sorely needed, I'm just saying that I hardly see content suggestions by upper ranks.

SOmething else that I think should be done with the suggestions forum would be to segment it into seperate subforums based on what the suggestion is for..... im going to put that in there.
