How much mining to maintain the upkeep at rank 300 for a non-builder?

I can substain 7B upkeep with 11k mining per hour so at rank 300 Id say maybe 15k-20k ?

id go with that. BUUUT if your really really really wanted them for some weird reason id guess 12k would be fine to support those.

Just a rough guess as i dont really remember how much each point was worth then. Thats also assuming that you never cap.

I would HIGHLY advise you do not get them. If you have to ask its not worth it. Quasis are only really for when you are making credits faster than you can spend them.

He asked for answer I gave it to him, In included 15-20k because I calculated the fact he would cap fast and would not get all of his credit. But like many others said, Quasi are not worth it at all, I found myself installing them and selling them a month later and I didn't see much of a difference execpt the huge ammount of credit I was doing now.

*whistles* that's alot of mining, i'll be honest, i only want them to look big i might install just two and the rest will be hvy thetas.

I am glad I bought mine, but everything everyone else has told you is true. I struggled far too much for credits between 500-700 ranks because of those money sucking weapons. I had to stay Builder longer than I planned. But now that I am well on the plus side, I am glad I got the extra firepower kick. Every little bit counts. If not, ask how many folks would be willing to give up their Ancient Crystal Foci even though it only adds 5%.

Thats cause if your attack is higher than like 11k the foci does more, and doesnt cost 8B a day.

On another note don't go builder to put these on. It is a profession that should be avoided at all costs.

Rank 300 and you're already at Quasi's? What happened to the rest of your research trees?

hehe, i'm only rank 250 atm, i haven't researched thetacron yet, let alone chaos cannons. I've just finished upgrading my artifact planets to lvl 12, i'm researching obviation barriers now then finally i can get some new ship hardware. Entropy Drives aren't that bad are they? only 2B in upkeep

Focus on getting your npc mods before those if you havent already. Do you have max scanners and hull yet?

Tac officers would be a much better route as others have pointed out and you don't have to go raising your damage cap by adding decks either.

Well from my point of vue, Trans Entropyes are totaly worth it compared to Quasis.

They can also be upgraded.

No need for Qausi guns at all. 72 added atck for all that added upkeep?? Even if u can afford the upkeep what is left over? Can u still scan often and colonize/build up artifact planets? Can u still buy those expensive scanners? Can u still repair the modules u install and uninstall often? and can u still invade/win the really good planets u scanned or Legion alerted? Are u still able to donate credits to the Legion base? I am rank 741 and I still use heavy null rays to keep upkeep down and I make 16k an hr. I prefer to have 100b+ on hand and able to do all these things then to have nothing and have to switch to builder and/or whine to Legion for mineral help. I mean if u are bigger and make 20k+ an hr then sure, I do not bother with improving my minerals per hr as all my planets go to artifact, so mine will not be going up, but the added arts an hr by far makes up for the less weapons

@KJReed : Well, i have max hull but not max scanners, i'm missing two sha'din forcevoiders and two korteth twin blasters ( add 25 attack ). I have just over 200 scan, i'm not really pursuing Caelons and baby space aliens.

@Epico : I know, damage cap :/ but eventually you will hit 4400 decks anyway
