Anyway... our base survived 2 baselocks yesterday: The Dark Side and Galaxy. Both leaderboard legions. Since our base reached Level 5, we've only been disabled by legions in the top 10 (Galaxy Desperados and I think the Unknown ).

And we're enjoying our daily 25k research

That is because they became Sith Acolytes.

Exactly. The Destroyers have been renamed "The Sith Acolytes", joining the strength leaderboard legion "The Sith Lords" to form "The Sith Empire". One of the Sith Lord's strongest players and officer, iDaze/Darth Melon, has taken over the leadership of the legion and is optimising the base while rebuilding and training the membership. Some of the more senior Destroyer members have moved over to the Sith Lords - a career path which remains open to all Acolytes growing to meet the Sith Lord's legion standard (lvl 100+, insane).

The Sith Acolytes remains open to all players, and continues to offer a high-output research base, which should make it extremely lucrative to players below level 100. Once members have grown their own research output and are thus ready to move on to a high-output artifact base, they can ascend to the Sith Lords.

Note that the Sith Lord's facebook group is open to members of The Sith Acolytes, which puts at their disposal a wealth of tactical documents and data offering serious advantage to any game player.
