10 - 21 - 2013 I guess this'll be my page. So um yeah..trying to learn how to use the wiki..yay :D Got a personal journal in the works. Think i'll post it on here whenever I retire. Partially got the idea off Cothordin, and want to leave a record of my thoughts on the game's situation at the time I write the entries.

10 - 22 - 2013
Logging on nowadays is depressing to say the least.. So many legions have died and more are on their death marches. Scrolling through my friendslist of around 300 players a good half are either contemplating quitting or have already left the game. Rarek, Cothordin, Nocifer Deathblade, Cyberpotato, and more all gone. I find motivation in playing by appreciating what little remains of the community I loved. You don't see people having fun like they used too. Folks like Xzien and Follyuu are the only reasons I haven't said my goodbyes yet.
10 - 29 - 2013 Meh, i'll probably just do bits of diary entries here and post anything I leave out whenever retirement day comes. Still dead bored with the game lol, but i'm excited about the potential of Delta Surfers opening up a training legion. Bane seasons almost over and I still have yet to hunt and get the holiday stuff. Always next year I guess, assuming i'm still playing and the games still around. I set up a wiki page for the Galactic Historian Society. I'll be transferring the bios onto here in a bit. Probably a little egotistical of me lol, but i'd love for someone to do one on me XD As for the game Cosa Nostra is back and Project Anarchy has been restarted by Bonny and some others as a completely new legion with some not so new players. Forum is mostly dead. Any activity is usually something random, a suggestion that'll get terrorized, or a ship log. I could go into why I think the forums dying but i'll save that for another day and time.
11 - 4 -2013 Its more or less official. With Xzien and Thunderbolta having gone/going into retirement i'm the last of a generation of players who used the forum for more then a political arena. Fingers crossed some players will return someday but looking at the state of things there is not much to look forward too anymore. Depending on how things go I may be turning in soon as well.

Haven't always seen eye to eye with the guy but i'm glad to see he's back and at least semi active.

11 - 8 - 2013 So another anti mod threads up. Debating whether or not to post on it lol. People already know my opinion. The only thing i'm dying to get out there is "The people follow the mods for the same reason they follow Dan. The guys in green are in a position of power and the said people fail to see corruptness in society. Also thanks to everyone who had the guts to stand up for the community, rather then blindly follow the people in power. Vorenus I'm not a huge fan of your's but you have my thanks for making that thread. Umbongo, Peticks, Bemos, Toastar, Plurvious, Fear, and Neogoterra you guys have my thanks as well for having the guts to post.
11 - 16 - 2013 People really gotta stop thinking they know whats best for everyone. Outdated experiences as a low ranked player or in a smaller legion are not always valid credentials for acting like you know better then people who're actually in said positions at the time. Things change, times change, people change.

11 - 18 - 2013 Had a long skype chat with Xzien and Joseph yesterday. Twas very nice to interact face to face with them. Really hope I can meet up with some of the friends i've made in real life. Seems like people are getting assier and assier on the forums. Between trolling a low rank trying to form a legion and being complete pricks towards people trying to help out that place is becoming a even bigger shithole then it already was. Only thing really going for that place is Thunderbolta posting on an occasional basis. Game itself is broken. The strong get stronger and the weak get weaker. The exploitation of the basing system amongst other things is taking its toll on the lower legions and many are dying/have died. Either way games screwed at this point unless action is taken. The only question is how long till its taken its last breath.
12 - 31 - 2013 When I was first introduced to Galaxy Legion by a friend about 2 years and some months ago there was something about it that drew me in. That feeling has long since past. Alot has led up to this, but i’ve decided to leave Galaxy Legion. I lost interest in the game itself a very long time ago. The only aspect I found fun was chatting with legionmates and the community, but as the community I loved began to fade so did I.
When I joined the forums in April of 2012 they were brimming with activity. Every few seconds a new post was up in one of the boards. Fan-fictions, artists, and other fun activities were up and going. Over time this died down as more and more people, took their leaves. Legends like Nocifer Deathblade and Cothordin, community people like Bluecifer, and more left.
Despite losing some people those of us stayed kept doing what we could to enjoy ourselves and in some cases entertain our audiences. For a while things were alright, and then the events of The 19th happened.
Long story short Xzien was led along for 2 years and then tossed aside like a broken tool, gestapo-like moderators appointed, and the last of the community I loved began to leave. Due to the actions of certain people I never could put my forumer hat long enough to befriend any of the next generation players (assuming there are any..). I’m amongst the last of a generation of players who truly cared about the community, who did more than troll, who truly saw the forum as more than a place to wage political battles and more than a overglorified wiki.
Dan; Galaxy Legion has potential. If you want this game to be saved from its inevitable death then start listening to the community. Now when I say start listening to the community I don’t just mean your high rank cash cows who’ve overrun the forum I mean everyone. Low ranks, mid ranks, and so forth. These players are loyal to the game and want to see it live on. Do this and be a more community friendly dev, acknowledge your mistakes, and be less of a businessman and maybe, just maybe some old faces will return. Whether or not any of this happens depends entirely on you.
I want to thank the EOA for raising me, TRA for helping me develop my leadership skills, and Delta for making the last few months enjoyable. I leave this game with leadership skills, a renewed passion in artwork and writing, and friendships I hope will last a lifetime. EOA, TRA, TDA, Joseph, Rarek, Xzien, Supercrazy, Blackfox, Jarod, and everyone else (theres too many of you people to list dammit >.<) who made this game worth playing, thank you. To all the current players I wish you luck and leave you with one last piece of advice. In the end its just a game. Don’t take it so seriously and enjoy the ride because you never know when it’ll end. My final resting place is in the first legion I founded: Alpha Legion 100.
The only thing left to decide is whether or not to post that somewhere. Heck i'm not even sure if theres anyone left who'll miss me aside from Supercrazy, Blackfox, and Joseph4. *shrugs* guess i'll mull it over in bed tonight.

1 - 6 - 2014 The New Year has begun. I decided to go ahead with making that post on the fan-forums. It'll attract less attention there while giving me the sense of a huge weight lifting off my back that I've needed for a long time now. It was fun.
