The Silthion Hive is a species of space-dwelling, insect-like creatures. They were once a dominant species inhabiting the Vorigar region. Due to the harsh environment that is space, the Silthion has long been studied for a variety of reasons. One particular area of study has been their strange forms of energy consumption. It has been difficult to get a clear indication as to when or how this species was able to develop in the harshness of space or for that matter how they have they evolved to travel through space at such high speeds, or why.
