Rank in Galaxy Legion is the equivalent to levels in most mmos, every time you gain a rank you obtain 5 Rank Points which are used to improve your ship's decks, cargo hold, offense/defense capabilities, Energy tank, and Research production. Every rank has a mixture of emblems that signifies that rank.
