Offensive Action Count Limit
Every player starts with a default action count of 3 disables, 5 raids, and 5 hacks (aka 3/5/5).
Every time you disable, raid, or hack a player, or invade a planet, your offensive action count limit for disables, raids, and hacks all increase by 1. Certain artifacts, when used, will also increase your offensive action count in a similar fashion. These artifacts include:
Regular PvP artifacts:
- Chaostatic Inhibitor
- Containment Missile
- Disarming Bomb
- EMP Sphere
- Gift to the Naughty
- Krionite Torpedo
- Positron Clouder
- Quantum Flare
- Tactical Inner-Bypass
Legion Mission PvP artifacts:
Every time you are disabled, your displayed disable action count drops by 1.
Every time you are raided, your displayed raid action count drops by 1.
Every time you are hacked, your displayed hack action count drops by 1.
24 hours after any offensive action, the disable/raid/hack action counts each drop by 1 (and can drop below 0).
When the offensive action count limit is reached, you can no longer use Time Manipulators. When the displayed action count for any category drops down to 0 (or goes negative), no further PvP actions of that type can be taken against your ship until the action count returns to a positive value.
05jul2011 - TM offensive action count limit was set to 50. Previously, there had been no limit.
28aug2012 - TM offensive action count limit was doubled from 50 to 100.
17apr2014 - TM offensive action count limit is increased to 125 if you have the fully upgraded Temporal Containment Shell installed on your ship.
Also, once you have made 10 offensive actions in the previous 24 hours or 30 offensive actions in a 7 day period on a single target, that target may block you from interacting with their ship for 30 days.
