Mission Artifacts


The following artifacts are acquired by completing specific missions. Some are provided randomly during the course of the mission, others are received per completion, whilst others may only be provided when a mission is totally completed. Click the mission links to find more specific information about that mission.

Drannik Awakening 3
Dyson Transformer Planet, permanent Turns any Metallic planet into a Dyson Sphere. Requires 50 energy to use.

All Resources will permanently increase to 28x Mega Rich, the planet will increase to Colossal size, and it will gain 10,000 Passive Attack, Defense, and Cloak.

Note 1: Use the Dyson Transformer on the smallest, resource-poorest metallic planet you can find for best effect. The Dyson created will get the above stats no matter what its stats were before; whether it's Tiny and Sparse or Colossal and Mega-Rich, it will always become a Colossal 28x Mega Rich Dyson. So the smaller and sparser the original planet, the bigger the improvement/benefit will be.

Note 2: The passive Attack, Defense, and Cloaking stats were added in the Christmas 2010 update. If you used the Dyson Transformer to create a Dyson before this update, contact the developers to have the passive bonuses added to your planet. Only the original creator of the planet can request the passive bonuses be added; the developers will NOT add the bonuses to planets that have since been invaded.

Note 3: Any existing passive bonuses that the planet has before it is Dyson-transformed will be retained on top of the +10,000 passive attack, defense, and cloaking bonuses, making the planet even better. It will also receive legion bonus stats just like all of your other planets, meaning the planets total attack, defense and cloak bonuses can each be well over 20,000 before you even build a single weapon, defense module, or cloaking satellite.

Note 4: Make sure you use a Flux Probe on your planet BEFORE you use the Dyson Transformer. If someone has already scanned the planet before you use the Dyson Transformer, they will still be able to see it after you use it. And that opens the planet up to attack! It IS still possible for someone to conquer a planet that has 10,000 attack and defense!

Experimental Crate Ship, permanent A crate containing many experimental android parts. Adds 4 of each type of crew to your ship when opened. (4 Engineers AND 4 Tactical Officers AND 4 Helmsmen AND 4 Scientists)

Hyper Terraformer Device Planet, permanent Transforms a planet into an Exotic World, and boosts its passive defenses significantly. (All Resources = 13x Mega Rich, Size = Massive, Passive Attack/Defense/Cloak = 10,000)

Note 1: if the planet is already larger than Massive, the planet will actually shrink in size, so do not use on a Very Massive or bigger planet.

Note 2: The Exotic created will get these stats no matter what its stats were before, whether it's a Tiny, Sparse, Barren planet or a Colossal, Mega-Rich Oceanic. It is therefore best to use the Hyper Terraformer on your WORST colonised planet to get the biggest benefit.

Note 3: The passive Attack, Defense, and Cloaking stats were added in the Christmas 2010 update. If you used the Hyper Terraformer before then, contact the developers to have the passive bonuses added to your planet. Only the original creator of the planet can request the passive bonuses be added; the developers will NOT add the bonuses to planets that have been invaded.

Note 4: Any existing passive bonuses that a planet has before it is Hyper-terraformed will be retained on top of the +10,000 Passive Attack, Defense, and Cloaking bonuses, making the planet even better. Volcanic planets can receive large passive attack bonuses from Eruption Channellers for instance, so ensure the planet is maxed out on these bonuses first. It will also receive legion bonus stats just like all of your other planets, meaning the Exotics' total attack, defense and cloak bonuses can each be well over 20,000 before you even build a single weapon, defense module, or cloaking satellite!

Note 5: Any existing modules on the planet that require a specific planet type will continue to work. It is therefore a very good idea to use the Hyper Terraformer on a planet that already has one of these. Examples include the Quantum Hydro-Meliorator (Oceanic) and the Permafrost Sub-network (Arctic).

Note 6: Make sure you use a Flux Probe on your planet BEFORE you use the Hyper Terraformer. If someone has already scanned the planet before you use the Hyper Terraformer, they will still be able to see the planet after you use it. And that opens the planet up to attack!

The Terra Project 1
Hyper-Dimensional Anchor Planet, permanent Found cloaked in a hydroshifted planet, it appears to amplify the Octafari dimensional control radius. Permanently boosts a planet's passive cloaking by 90 when used.

Prototype Engineering Bay Ship, permanent Permanently increases your Decks and adds Engineers and Scientists to your crew when used.

Subspace Fissuron Planet, permanent Transforms any planet into a Mega-Colossal-sized Rift planet. Also increases all planetary resources by 15, adds 10,000 cloak, and makes a planet invincible. (Planet cannot be conquered or abandoned) Costs 50 energy to use.

Note 1: use the Subpace Fissuron on a planet that is already maxed out in resources (15x mega rich or better) to get the best effect. It does NOT matter what size the planet originally is, all that matters is the starting resource level.

Note 2: Try using on a natural Dyson to get an uber resource-rich planet!

1 The Gamma Crystallizer description says adds 1 to size, but I have used it on two planets and have gotten +3 to size and +2 to size. I think that it has been tweaked a bit since being introduced.

2 Glaviz Device Warning From Player! I have used two of the Glaviz Devices. If used and you have more than 80 energy your risk loosing most if not all of that energy. If used when you have 0 energy it will fill you up to at lease 80 if not more energy.
