Daily Mission Briefing
We recently lost contact with a covert research vessel, the Ventar, after it entered an uncharted region known as the Uldri expanse. Scans are unable to penetrate the anomalistic region, and we're concerned that the ship may be in trouble.

It was on a very important mission.
Why would the Ventar voluntarily enter the expanse?
It is unlikely that it was for research purposes. It was scheduled to rendezvous with one of the outposts.
Is it possible that it will return on its own?
The Ventar has been gone for too long now. Without preparations, it would be very unlikely. It needs help.
Are you considering a rescue?
Yes. I know that asking another ship to enter is risky, but returning the Ventar safely is critically important.
What do we know about the Uldri expanse?
Due to its dangerous and unstable spacial regions and anomalies, it remains mostly uncharted. Ships generally avoid it.
Scans cannot penetrate it?
They can, but not effectively. Most of the readings you take will be useless.
How are we to find the Ventar in those conditions?
