Is the best race to choose Zolazin Hacker OR Zolazin Explorer OR Zolazin Spy
No intention of doing so, just wondering.

I don't remember what the spy profession does, but I would say Zolazin Hacker because it gives direct hacking potential

No intention of doing so, just wondering. if you're going for the best hacking abilities, it would be zolazin hacker... you get a 40% boost to your cloak for being zolazin and you get an additional 30% boost to your hacking (probably calculated as a 30% increase to the cloak+scan when comparing against the opponents cloak+scan)

I think Zolazin Hacker is better too. The 30% bonus of hack is featured more than scan and cloak bonuses. Plus the racial bonus, so that's probably the best.

Actually, Zolazin Spy is the best choice because the Cloak bonus is utilized both on the success roll and the critical success roll, meanwhile Hacker only helps with the first of those.

How do you know that 30% increase isn't for both?

EDIT: I checked about twenty pages each in the Beginner's Hub and Strategy forums, before finding it in the most obvious place.

Switching to Genetarr's and Zolazin's is quite useful for Non- CC-ers, saves your Glaviz Device, if you wanted to go on a scanning spree, switch to Zolazin Explorer or Genetarr Explorer like i intended to. Gets you your massive 30%+ scan power.

I'd say Zolazin Spy.
*Keeps you off of the battle tab. *Cloaking is the prequisite to the hack. *Helps prevent people hacking you. *Increases crit chance. *Multiplied by Zolazin Bonus.
As far as I know, the hacker only effects the roll itself - not whether or not you can hack. Both spy and explorer give 20% boosts, but the Spy is multiplied by the Zolazin bonus.

as a zolazin spy i have to say that it would probably be the best race/profession for a hacker, IRL a hacker doesnt want to be seen, the extra 20% cloak does that for you totally, since i changed my race i get attacked by three people, whenever i am disabled it is always the same three people, they are over 100 lvls above me and have better tech/size, ive accepted that and learned to just take my punches like everyone else but, with that extra 20% i can get over 2-400 research every hack, i would like to get information on hacking with a zolazin hacker to see which is better, but i think that if i were to switch to the hacker you would get hit a lot more than with a spy. so, theres my two cents. zolazin spy all the way.
