Okay. So I recently unlocked +6 structures. And it's so underpowered... Exhibit A: +5s  +6s

There was a thread a while back where we did the math and showed that in most cases the jump from 5 to 6 was not worth it. Push on through to the next level and you will see a very nice return.

how much space is left on the planet? you should show how much room is being taken by the +5s and the +6s

I have always skipped every other planet structure. At rank 90, I just researched +8 structures and yes, they are GREAT! Additionally, if you look at the wiki, it shows that there is not a significant upgrade from +5 to +6. Not worth the money.

As a couple of you have asked, the buildings on Diedynn: Before: 3 singularity minefields 2 mass shields 4 Ai Network
(I do not understand why there are no spy uplinks on the planet, which I will fix.) After: 3 Singularity Minefields 2 Mass Shields 3 Quantum Computer Grids 1 Robotics Lab

i'd go with the following: (this takes the 52 spaces you're using for research) 3 Quantum Computer Grids 2 spy uplink 1 warp gate 1 relay tower 1 refining lab 1 silthion vesicle 1 sha'din hypergrid
3*6 +2*1 +1 +1 +1 +2 +2 = 27 This doesn't take into account any mission items you might want to use... just unlimited stuff

even the +12 buildings only give 0.666 any-one-resource per space used.... warp gates are an unlimited availability item, and give 1 any-one-resource per space... eventually you will have more warp gates per planet... no reason to have any planets that don't have one on them... (then i can dial up your planet's gate address and sneak away w/ all your naquadah and naquadria.... wait.. wrong game)

Yeah... the best route is to skip +5 altogether. 4 to 6 is a noticable improvement.
