Does purging a planet from your database affect the number of scans that a flux probe shows?

By that I mean that if my planet shows 4 other people have scanned it, if one of them later purges it, will it still show 4, or will it drop to 3?

Yes it does reduce the number of people who see that planet. As an example, I got a planet off someone in my legion, and when the transaction was complete he purged the planet, so when I flux probed it returned that 0 other ships had scanned said planet.
