Is the wiki really right about the rates of TO troops carrier spawns? i mean i have disabled a good 3200 NPCs and only found 5 Troop carriers.

Was an estimate based on total NPC kills vs. # of drops put into the 2 missions (which essentially recorded the kills of this NPC), up until I hit 10 terraformers and finished the first one. I think generally the ratio still holds true, but it varies for each person.

lol, Dan should make it so you're guaranteed a Troop carrier to battle every 400 NPCs or whatever the spawn rate is because my luck is sooooo bad.

same here. ive found 2 legit troop carriers. the rest are from events or artifacts. with over 5k npc kills, id really like to finally get my exotic.

and i thought my luck was bad. i have a friend who got all 10 in under 2k NPCs

holy crap, i have 3, 1.2 k npcs kills

ive found 8 of them. but 2 were from Contact Coordinates, and 4 were during the adjusted rarities during the kalvium mission. the other two were luck. but yeah. id like to finally get my exotic, preferably before i hit rank 300...

With a little over 12K NPC kills, I've found 15 Troop carriers (including 2 from Contact Coordinates). 12 terraformers, 2 quasi's and 1 no drop. So my average is about 1:900 or so not counting the 2 mission finds.

Troop Carriers sometimes don't drop ANYTHING? God the Dissapointment from that.......

I have never seen it not drop anything. but 90-95% are terraformers.

Think I've received 11 Terraformers in just over 2000 kills, and I think I got 2 Troop Carriers in from Coordinates as well.

Granted, I don't go after NPCs all the time, so I've seen a lot more than 2000 NPCs.

they should have it to were you get certain NPC's when you hit so many npc's

It is all bull crap, I have not found 10 yet and I have been playing a year now. it is only shear luck.
