I think a separate program to make legion logos would be neat for several reasons. The first is that not everyone wants to be or can be an actual leader in their legion and leaders might want input on the matter.

Another reason is that user skins or masks or stencils or whatever they are could easily be submmitted and increase the options almost infinitely.

Some simple requirements like a black background, only grey-scale colors, a fair amount of transparent (monochrome) area, dimensions and file format.

The program would be necessary to see how the color swatch and possibly starry background fit into the mix before submitting something totally useless as well.

If we permit leader generate unique logo, we will need to have a moderator team to valid all the new logos.

Ths reason is simple. Even with stencils some stupid guy will try draw nazi cross, a mouth and a #*&$, and many other thing we don't want in game.

lol like black ops? we have the majority people who are just awful at making logos, a few people who make some pretty badass logos, and of course, the rest of the people who figured out how to make adult logos.

I agree, people aren't mature enough for this, but it is a good idea, I also like the idea of letting a legion have input on they legion logo, maybe some part of the wiki can have that?

if anyone has played Kindgom of Loathing, if you purchase a specific artifact then you can submit a png of your image for your avatar and your title.

This could work for this game with the logo. if youre gonna PAY for an artifact to make a custom logo, then perhaps a dev can review it to make sure its appropriate.

Yes if we need to pay with real money to create a unique logo, the possibility of inapropriate logo will be rare.
