you could have three catagories, most kills raids hacks in a 24 hour peroid can call it the Hot Shots or something and give a reward of a few GP's to the winner everyday,

I really like the idea of tracking and rewarding recent activity, but this is just too much...

Unless you are OK with tons of people just hitting their friends for hacks n' raids until TM lock then trading disables all day long?

I also don't like the GP incentive, because it provides an opportunity to get GP that is only open to people who are big on PVP.

If you wanted to take the GP incentive away and base the Daily Leaderboard on total badges, I'd be interested, but as the senator says... it's just too volatile. To echo him: a weekly or monthly board would be more representative of recent history, with the monthly board more "justifiable."

People have said for ages that there needs to be a greater incentive to PvP (a hackneyed argument in my opinion) - this would be a great incentive. It also isn't open only to people who are big on PvP, it is open to everyone. Everyone can PvP, just because some people prefer to pussy up and hide behind a halc 24/7, doesn't mean the opportunity isn't available to them...

Monthly, or fortnightly, would be better purely from a server perspective - lag is bad enough as it is. Definitely like the small GP incentive, hopefully would get more people PvPing
