Nearly everyone has encountered this in their legions.I think if a player is banned, there should be some sort of marker or message put on their ship comms so that they can be removed from the legion rosters manually by legion leadership. This will allow the legions to replace said player in a timely fashion rather than to give them a period of time to return to no avail.Thanks.

To a certain degree, I agree. BUT, banning has been (and forever should be) a private situation between Dan and said bannee. Generally, we find out soon enough when someone gets banned, regardless of that privacy, that there really isn't any NEED for a banned tag on aplayer's ship.

On some level it would be nice. Not everyone does the fb friend or group thing so someone who interacts entirely via their ship would have no contact with you after a ban.
Is frank dead? Idk
Or
Is frank dead? His ship is banned actually. Oh ok.

yea but at the same time....many legions give a grace period to inactives....this grace period can be foregone with the tag.....theres no need to allow a real name be realized, just the ign

^the problem with that is that most legions (I think) have lists of player IGNs and their Facebook names - therefore, if someone shows up as banned, everyone in the legion will know who it is just by checking that list
