Ok, well your first port of call, dependant on transaction method used is;
Cards Payments - Contact your credit card company or if using a debit card, contact your bank. See if your card is blocked or otherwise unable to be used to complete online transactions.
Paypal Payments - Contact PayPal
Dan has nothing to do with the payment side of the application, all of that is handled via facebook/your payment processors.

maybe money shows in your account but hasn't been processed yet so don't have access to it?i.e. if you paid into it very recently
