I have to assume NATURAL dyson's don't have the natural 10,000 attack/defense/cloak? so really have to be teched up to be able to defend them amiright?

no, but some people, like myself, use their in game name as their forum name. so if they talk about scanning a 13x mega rich research large terra or something, then they will get targeted by hacks from people hoping to steal a scan of it.

I considered that when making my forum account so they arn't even close so guess if i ever find anything special i can broadcast it with no worries

Havn't found squat yet considering the best planets i've found are ultra rich which isn't anything to write home about considering some of the multiplers i've seen posted

hahahaa yeah, I've seen a made dyson, and the bonus it had, that was a nice dyson. only one I've seen too.

just how hard is it to take a planet with a base 10,000 attack/defense/cloak? curious if its even worth worrying? or should you still add to attack/defense/cloak? I've made my exotic planet, waiting till i hit 50 so i can start in on the dyson, just want to know if i really need to pump more defense in or if base is pretty solid. I don't know how high people can get attack/defense so not sure what the odds are.

well don't forget about the legion bonus, so with that it can get to 20,000 with that. and whatever structures that you would unnecessarily not need to build. so it would be quite safe I would think.

don't think i really need "things" in game, more after a group that likes to bs on the comms and helps eachother as able. Current legion has one person that actually talks in comms regularly and others just once in a while. So not feeling much camaraderie, which i suppose is why i'm posting on the forums

Sweet. It took me 964 ranks but I finally found a dyson. Now, I only need 8 more qse's then I can say I own 2 dysons.

and ive seen on built dyson, the dude who owns wasnt even using the planet properly, he has defnce/attack structures, pop structures, lots of research archives, waste of space... still he gets 900 units/research

LOL seriously... i have yet to scan an exotic. all i seem to scan are peoples made crystal planets. im not really complaining about that, more about the fact that i scan a ton of crappy gas planets, and a ton of small or smaller planets.

In over 2000 planets, I've found 3 exotics all unoc; 3x mega rich research, 6x and 8x mega mining which I sold for enough to pay for enough planets to get more. They were all large or very large. It was kind of a letdown in terms of resource potential since I've made better with npc drops, but it was interesting anyway to see a purple planet pop up in scan window and go "huh"? You can't compare them to the mission exotic/dyson as they are not even in the same range usually.

All my life in GL, I never ever scanned a Dyson. I did scan 3 or 4 exotics though.. Dyson planet is rather very rare to scan. It's like winning a lottery ticket!!
