I've just heard that this new sabertor trait, yes it destroys building but only under 100 population.
Ok, fine.

Next i hear it can only be used once every 8 hours
Getting worse.

Then you have the strongness of the planetary defenses!
Ok, Its rubbish!

It's only good if theres more than one, but doing a solo, or PVP its Crap!
I want dan to re-think and add something along side it,

10% attack or one extra weapon space.
Just something to make it easier, or you would just get destroyed all the time for
being a sabertor.

Whats your opinions?

I don't understand what you are saying? If I say use the trait I can only destroy one building? or do you mean I can destroy all non special buildings, but once ive used the ability on a planet I would have to wait 8 hours to do it again? If it where destroy 1 building then wait 8 hours to do it again then its crap, and if so then why not just wait like 5 minutes?

Quote:
Ability Provided by: Zolazin 'Saboteur' Profession.
Ability Effect: Nullifies Planetary Defensive Structures. (Has no effect on 'Unique' Structures.)
Ability Activates From: Enemy Planet Actions Tab.
Ability Cool-Down Timer: 8 Hours.

Useful if used in "packs" of 4-5 players against top'notch planets. Otherwise, it looks pretty damn useless to me.

One good structure can be a pretty big difference, at least at higher levels. It won't let you take a planet if they know you're coming, but if they don't know and have minimal protection then it could help greatly.

one structure being removed can be good, but only have you have a stroke team of sabertors, the actual proffesion does nothing it self, it should have something else to help, like at least 5% attack boost, because you can be easily killed.

And how the game is at mo, any one that is different like a sabertor, gets destoryed every day intill they quit, because they can destory buildings, whats kinda unfair, isn't it?

I tried when it came out. I did not like it. I used it for a planet. I only took out one.. and if the planet has 4 defense buildings. In 8 hours the owner would have it rebuilt.

It's called 'Balance'.

Do you really think that it would be a good idea to have saboteurs who could destroy planetary defenses as they please? It may sound good, but put it into game play and then you would have every legion with a single saboteur absolutely destroying every single planetary defense.

If that doesn't scare you, then let me rephrase it.

Imagine that exact same scenario, then imagine that the Dysonians had 10 saboteurs.

Imagine Project Anarchy did too.

Imagine the DOO had 10 per legion.

Is it starting to frighten you now?

Yeah, it's good for taking planets if they don't know you're coming. You could become one for a short time and then switch back to something useful in other situations, unless you're going on an invasion blitz...

One flaw with that.

Most of these players HAVE to be Builders, Excavators, Fixers, etc. for the half maintainence (5+ billion maintainence isn't to be laughed at), boost to artifact production (everyone needs more arti's. Always.), and Fixer (more hull = better at PvP + NPC's for fewer repairs). There are a few physicists and such. Overall, the high level players have to be one of these specialists, rather than saboteurs.

True, but then once you have completed research, it's possible at that level to disband research planets and focus on artifact/mining production planets. Coupled with the fact that they do not need to have planetary defenses (relying on the fact that consequences is enough of a deterrent) they can max planetary production on their planets. It may come in short, but some of them (and that some may be enough) to have a complete unbalancing effect on the game.

I dont mean taking the planet, withone sabertor able to destory all in one go, i mean the PVP Side.

Both Zolazin and Sabetor together is useless! you can't PVP, You can't NCP Farm.
With Vgion, you have 20% research boost, making you stronger.

Excavator, 10% mineral, more money to buy better weapons.
Builder, 50% module cost
Fixer, More Hull
Konqul, More Attack
Human, Ranking up faster, More decks.
Silix, 10% more decks.

What ever you choose, its to PVP.

Zolazin sabertor you only get 40% cloak "A chance to not get a crictal hit"

UM USELESS!

Sabertor needs to have like a 5% Attack, or something. it needs something to make it
better, because its CRAP at the moment.

I think most Zolazin try hacking anyway.

This could be a good way to get some more money though, as I said, I could imagine someone switching to Zolazin just long enough to take a planet, and paying for a race change that often would certainly be more income for the game.
