Ok, so Iv ben playing GL a while and i can honestly say, i suck horribly. Its all becouse of the poor decisions iv made earlier in my gaming, now it seems not even 2 seconds after repairing my ships hull some dude comes allong and just goes "HAHA you suck" (not literally). and now iv ben rendered completely disabled in a way, let me explain. Some time ago I wanted to discover some more planets, ok so what i do is I stow away my gear to make room for scanners and Begin the normal procedure of discovering new planets. that day I actually find some decent planets. but i foolishly forget to turn back on my ships wepons defences and power systems. to top it off i havent ben on for a while so like my ship fines have just ben eating away at my credits. I log on one day to find only around 15k credits and all my expensive gear just broken and still offline. so yea lol i suck and am not good at all. I try to just focuse on missions and other things and not start beef with eneyone but noooo someone just comes and dissables me 2 seconds after repairs every time. I may stop playing GL becouse its now just more infuriating then fun, not saying GL is a bad game or eneything its actually really cool. Unless of course I can some how start a new game then maybe ill play smarter.

Go to help. Acount reset and reset. You get to start over so your ship wont be so sucky

You need some help getting your ship back running again? If you do, PM me your FB and I'll be glad to help. Additionally, you can make sure you use a calming amp whilst online so that you know that no-one will bother you whilst your online. Everyone gets disabled whilst they're offline some time or another, so I wouldn't let that bother you.

@Peticks. Resetting is rarely a good idea. The thing that pays off the most in this game is time, and by resetting you blow all of that. It's far better to recover a bad ship to a mediocre ship than to make a tiny ranked good ship.

Unless he's low rank. THEN he should reset.

understood, Im sure that happens to eney one however Every time i log back on BAAMM disabled, repair, 10 seconds later, you have ben hacked raided and dissabled by so and so EVERY TIME lol

What rank are you? If you are sub-150 I would say that if you are that aggravated with your ship, then you have the feasible option of resetting.

there are some missions that you can do even when you are disabled ...

if you are under rank 75 or so, and have not bought an exotic world yet, i would recommend resetting. even if you do manage to improve your ship, anyone who has gotten used to seeing you on their bt will still just attack you out of habit.

edit: well, rank 119 ... time to stock up on calming amps then. you apply the calming amp BEFORE you repair your hull. that way you get 2 hours to do whatever you want before you get disabled again. if you want to swing by World Task Force, i have 20 calming amps and 10 halcyon traps that i can give you.

Under the circumstances I would say you should reset. If you want to make a tough ship choose either vygoid alerian or konquol for race and fixer/excavator as proffesion. Also from what it sounds I would suggest you find a new legion. Personaly I would suggest become vygoid excavator and joining raiders of the cove . Also search through the strategy for reset ships and advice so you know what mistakes to avoid.

I reset when I was a R136 to do a complete PvP build from the get-go, and I hated it and had terrible planets, so I reset again and I am now a R189, and while I know my ship is not the best by any stretch of the imagination, I am happy with it. Now, if I could only get more Android Helmsmen....
In all seriousness, if you feel that badly about your ship, then you can
1. get some cloak so that most people won't see you
2. freeze rank for a while in a legion that has an artifact base
3. reset and start completely from scratch, losing everything you have.
If I had to pick from those, I would reset (kinda obvious, as I've done it twice.... ), but everyone has their own opinion on it.

I just looked at the reset option and it says "Your reset option is currently locked" and to unlock it says i have to contact customer service

Go to help in game support and follow the instructions. tick let the developer know who I am and say you want 'the acount reset option to be unlocked' in additional detials.

I think he just wants to become a less targeted ship with higer productions not a insane killing machine. In any case swashbuckling is much more fun than red badge hunting

Creating a strong ship that's good at pvp pretty much inherently creates a strong ship that will get attacked and disabled less.

Maybe but going down the lets kill everyone route isn't your only option. For instance a ship with plenty of defence and hull but hardly any attack is pretty useless at player killing but is very good at not being killed. Just saying you dont have to be a pvp based ship to not get killed often.

RBHL is about improving and strengthening your ship. There is a LOT more to the legion's purpose than just killing. That wouldn't even be efficient. Growing your ship in every area is the best way to pvp, and that is what RBHL offers. If he wants to join, he can join. If he doesn't, he won't.

Since this has turned into a legion conflict in it's own right. People are fighting over you, eh? Your ship can't be that bad.

Still. You probably have a legion, and they'd probably help you. If you don't, however, I can offer you a home no matter what your ultimate decision is, and we - The Invisible Storm - can support you and help you.

Freeze ranking is not a good idea (almost in any case), you limit your planet slots, and therefore production. Not quite the most interesting way to play GL either... Hack, wait 15 minutes, hack, wait 15 minutes, hit a QFT, use a null/wait 2 hours, open up 20 tabs, raid, etc. A better alternative would be to slow rank, and work on getting your badge items.

If you find that PvPing is not possible or very inefficient, seeing you are at an early stage, I would take the drop and reset (contact Dan to enable to option again).
If you do choose to reset, there are several paths to take, although you may want to get all your red/yellow/blue badge items before moving onto any particular path. I've reset twice myself, and can offer a few helping tips. If you don't have your questions already answered, feel free to PM me any of them, and I'd be glad to pitch in my thoughts.
