So I just hit rank 100, and i'm sitting on a nice amount of GP still, already got all the limited scruuge items, and i'm debating on grabbing 2 Radiant Surge cannons. Thinking the mark 2's with a deck space of only 12 and attack of 60, is a much better deck/attack ratio than what I currently have unlocked. Now, I know alot of people are going to say "Dominion mark 3's" is what I should have installed, and I fully agree, but I'm not much for pvp, and used almost all my red to scan for enemy bases early on. Considering my current combat record, 64 kills to 68 deaths, I'm hoping some of you might be able to give me your input on if you think it might be a good idea to help me get the reds needed to go for Dominion mk3's.

Recommend against getting the cannons at your rank. I would wait until, at minimum, Surge Cannon V-VI. If the GP is really burning a hole in your pocket, set it aside towards a mission exotic or dyson, or otherwise use it to build planets.

Mission exotic and dyson are both done... all 24 of my planets are ultra rich, 12 of those being 2x mega rich or higher... the GP's not an issue.. not to brag or anything, but... living in a small bush town with nothing to do, not being a drinker, I dont mind spending some here and there on games I like... i already planned on buying a set of 2 of each mk 5 and up when i get to those ranks... it's really just my low attack rating at the current moment i'm worried about... thanks for the advice though... still on the fence as to wether or not i will buy them

If the GP isn't an issue then go for it.

Why not save it for your future, like when you get married, or when financial times get tough - they won't always be rosy. Don't waste it just to waste it (and radiants at rank 100 is certainly wasting it - hello farmville buildings).

its not as if we are talking thousands and thousands of pounds here. If you want to spend money on a game go for it. And raidiants at rank 100 is a million times more usefull that farmville buildings.
But yep dont buy raidiants till your high rank. sure they may be better than the cannons you have now but they quickly become redundant as you research weapons tech

Thanks everyone, lol... decided against the cannons for now, bought scruuge vaults, sold them, using the ctp to buy some really good planets, and energy contributions to boost my base to level 4, hopefully that'll increase my research production, and in turn allow for some better weapons much sooner
