I recall seeing some numbers aboutmax capacity for minerals artifacts and research, but i only managed to find out that research capacity increases by 150 per level, but what are setting the max capacity for minerals and artifacts?

Minerals = 500x the number of planets you control Artifacts = 1000x the number of planets you control

Plus there's the new GP Buildings that you can buy. The first update of this month doubled their capacity, so the Mineral Storage Tower increases it by 2000, the Artifact Warehouse increases by 4000, and the Research Data Archive increases it by 2000.

No sorry, they're GP only. Dan hasn't mentioned any potential future changes so they're likely to stay as GP-only as well, so if you want them, you'll have to buy them.
You can have up to 5 of each building type per planet. I'd recommend colonising the biggest, sparsest resource planet you can find and sticking them all on it, then filling any remaining spaces with as much cloaking as you can fit. Since the planet has sparse resources, there's no point in building resource buildings on it, and the cloaking should help prevent someone finding the planet in the first place and attempting to steal it. As long as you max out cloaking, people won't find it in the first place so you won't need any defences.
One note though: before you colonise it, use a Flux probe to make sure no one else has *already* scanned the planet, or the cloaks will be useless as the other player will still be able to see it. In this situation, either find a different planet, or use a Planet Flux.
