Try to get yor defences up to Nullifyers, then get the other 2 Heavy nulls. What's your planet production?

Your defence technology lacks in comparison to your gun technology. I have Heavy Nulls to. I also have Exergonic Inverters.

I'd advise to do E-Nulls and the first tier of TT Nacelles. Install E-Nulls, and then the TT 1s as you get space. That's how I upgrade defence, so I get roughly the same technology level on both sets of defences, and it's much cheaper than getting Exergonics 3.

I was looking comparatively to his technology. Energy Nullifiers are too expensive.

Also, I'd take off the Tetra-Seek, and the 4 Drannik Cores, if you have Dark Energy researched. For the same energy, less decks. I wouldn't bother researching it just to do that though. The difference is small.

Recommend removing the Quad Frames, Sha'din Computers, Tetra-Seek Targeter (install for base battles), and if necessary MegaPulsers, and replace them with more defenses (preferably Energy Nullifiers once you've got them; pretty cheap and powerful). Power Cores are relatively inefficient if you have the space for all 4 of them; recommend replacement with Dark Energy Cores or better.

If you can get your ship powerful enough, at our ranks cloaking is a non-issue as people generally won't try to hit you (or they'll give up shortly).

There is nothing wrong with your ship/build, all u can do now is just keep researching and getting production up when u can. For a rank 147+ (not sure what rank u are, that's why i added the +) your ship and production is good, your attack especially, that's the most i think i've seen someone your rank have.

I saw more in a player at about 140, but then he switched from Konqul.

I dont have deck for more.
Not to mention, i have max guns! (Heavy Null Ray x8) - and if there is a player at rank 140, with better guns, that can pay for them and the upkeep, ill be damned.
Also, i have max defense, which i understand is a bit far in the research stage, but i think i more then make it up in my 9k of hull.
