If you could hold infinate research point, I think that a bit OP(over powered) because then when the new tiers come you will be able to spend all that research point at once, and you would of researched all your tiers.

I'm not sure that it matters, the moment he can store it, it will just build and build and he won't be able to use it anyway. So he will just have say a million research stored doing nothing, then it will be a new problem.

One idea could be missions that COSTS RP to do, that gives you an pretty ok reward in the end.

that could be cool. 'special' research missions that require energy and rp.

Doesn't sound cool until your the one who has run out of things to research lol. Your talking about probably 2 or 3 people at most who have run out of things to research atm. But it would be nice if a couple new modules came out at the same time.

I still say once you are at the verge of maxing out research... you should start dumping your massive Gas Planets (which only gives research) and get Mineral or artifact planets. But of course letting go is really a bad Idea. Specially when you terraformed a planet to go as far as Mega rich x 15.


Thats why I tend to Terraform Icy or Oceanic planet. when I don't want research I can always tear down the Research Buildings and build artifact buildings. Too bad they are uncommon unlike the very massive Gas Planets which can be a common as dust.

I only have 4 gas giants. I have converted a lot of planets to artifacts but when you have more than 150 planets. many have research as their only good resource.
