One of the points of achievements, for me at least, is to be able to tell my friends that I have thus achieved this and that. Yesterday, I got my First Contact medal award and eagerly click "tell your friend" link. I promptly click the Share button on the News feed form that showed up.

And nothing happened. No post from GL showed up in my news feed, or in timeline.

Tried several times to no avail. What should I do? I want to tell my friends about this great game I play.

Nope.

Usually, any post I make shows up in News Feed, and in my Timeline. The medal share didn't show up in either. Even when I have set the privacy setting to Global. I even tried to look at my Timeline using a friend's account. It isn't there.

If the medal notice is still in your ship log, you can try posting it again. Depending on whether you add text or not to the post, it will appear differently.

I didn't see your post, was away from forum for quite some time. I would try your suggestion for my next achievement.

if i didn't work i would just take a picture with my phone and upload it onto Facebook. and i don't think its the game's fault a lot of Facebook games are like that.
