So a member of my legion has been working towards the "Back on Your Feet Soldier" medal. Once he achieved the medal we went to try it out. I went and got myself disabled and he repaired me. I did, in fact, receive the 10% hull buff, but his repair of me only repaired my base hull.
Perhaps this is how it was supposed to work, but it seems very odd to be repaired and obtain the buff, only to be left with 10% extra hull that is not repaired. I would assume that the repair should fully repair the hull, including the extra hull obtained through the effect.

Dan said that's the way it's intended to work. Can't be bothered to find the post right now though.

I asked Dan about it and he said that's how it works, so I guess it's intended.

okay. i did wonder whether the repair took effect first, then the effect.... but it is still strange to be repaired short of a full hull.
Oh well. Thanks for the info guys.

How long does the 10% extra hull last for ? If you get repaired whilst offline does the 10% extra timer start when you next log in ?

I am trying to complete this task and I'm finding that I often do not get credit for the legion member I repair. What is the criteria for fixing people? At first I thought that it wasn't counting if they were off line for more than a day, now I just repaired a member who is logged in and active right now and it did not count. There is nothing in the way of definition to explain if there are any requirements other than the no repairs to anyone for one hour.

Johns - The no repairs for 1 hour also applies to repairing yourself, I believe. Could account for your experience.

oh yeah I know that includes myself and no that is not the situation. I have done no repairs to anyone in over an hour. Its hit & miss. Sometimes it works great and other times, sometimes for three or more repairs in a row each at intervals of greater than one hour it will not work.

They also have to have been disabled by someone else. They can't self disable on a base/npc.
